Lavenza has found herself in the⛄ Velvet Room once again, but this time, things are a little different in how she fuse⛄s new Personas.
As the first boss, Marie is relatively simple, and her fight is mostly a matter of getting everything into position. However, if you make a mistake, she's absolutely brutal, managing to deal a lot of damage at once.
Lady Marie Phase One: Here Comes The Bride
To start out with, Marie will throw several bouquets onto the field with bombs in them. If you can, knock these towards her. If you hit her, she’ll be knocked down, and you can perform an All-Out Attack. If not, they’ll still exp✅lode near her on her turn and deal a small chunk of HP.
After this, she’ll use the move Collar of Matrimony, which yanks one of your party members towards her and makes her target only them. Try and get this person as far away as possible and under cover.
If you use Like A Phantom, she will never target the copies.
After♈ she uses this the first time, she’ll do it again and throw the bouquets, allowing you to lead her into one or in to position to be knocked into one.
Once you knock her down,ཧ use a triangle attack for the second time, which will initiate the next part.
Lady Marie Phase Two: The Terrible Tank
Next, Marie will summon her tank. When she does, move anyone standing on the red carpet out of the way, or they will take ma📖ssive damage and be sent flying.
Every ꧂other time she uses this move, yello🔴w squares will indicate her path so you can avoid her, but not this first time.
During this phase, you have to launch her bouquets into the path of the car, which will stop it in its tracks and also do damage to her. Eventually, she'll throw her collar into the mix, and you have to lead her into the path of the bombs if there isn't a clear way to knock them towards her.
Other than that, she won't really attack you, so if no one else is doing anything, take cover and shoot at her. You'll know you've beaten this phase when she fully heals herself.
Lady Marie Phase Three: Wedding Bells Will Ring
After a cutscene, you'll spend a couple of turns avoiding Marie's tank some more, but you won't be able to do any damage.
Another short cutscene will play as Toshiro prepares to drop the wedding bell on Marie and crush her tank, leaving you to get her to stop in the glowing square in the middle of the room.
You have to get her to stop in the whole square; just being part of the way won't be good enough.
You can do this by knocking two bombs in the space just outside the far edge of the square, which will stop her 🌃as she rides through it. Toshiro will drop the bell on her, an🔯d your revolution will be complete.
