One character like this is the Phantom Thieves’ strategist and Shujin A💫cademy student council president, Makoto Niijima. With Joker’s romances left completely to the player’s discretion, you have your choice of ladies to date. Play Normally Through The First Two Palaces
While you’ll see plenty of Makoto snooping around early in the game, she doesn’t unlock as a Confidant for some time – not until 6/25, t🦂wo entire months into the game. As long as you’re getting through the palaces in good time, you should have no problems with the first two months of the game.
It’s a good idea, though, to use the time to build your social skills. Makoto’s Confidant requires high levels in not one but two skills – 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Knowledge can be improved by studying and doing well in school, while 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:your Charm skill comes from working part-time jobs (specifically 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Triple Seven Convenience Store or 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Crossroads Bar) and taking baths, somehow – so you&r♛squo;ll have a good head sta♊rt on them before Makoto is formally a Confidant.
Complete The Bank of Gluttony
Makoto is who directs you to the game’s third palace: 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Kaneshiro’s Bank of Gluttony. Junya Kaneshiro is a mobster who targets teens around Shibuya, and Makoto wants to see that the Thieves are on the side of justice by taking down Kaneshiro.

Reach Rank 3 Knowledge
Starting Makoto’s social link requires a bit more work than some other member💦s of the Phantom Thieves. To even begin, Joker needs t♈o hit Rank 3 of the Knowledge skill.
This is why it’s important to focus on completing dungeons as quickly as possible. With the extra time at Joker’s disposal, he can boost his Knowledge by studying in Leblanc after school or at night, as well as in the library after school and by 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:reading a book if he f♛inds a seat on the train. Try to take every 🐟opportunity available to hone Joker’s intelligence.
Then Hit Rank 5 Charm
Once Joker has the brainpower necessary to get on Makoto’s radar and keep up with her razor-sharp wit, you’re free to pursue her social link as you please. Ranks 1-6 are unlocked by reaching Rank 3 Knowledge.
The first six ranks of her Confidant introduce you to Makoto’s struggle with a girl in their class who’s being used by a much older club promoter. To keep up with someone so smarmy, Joker will have to max his Charm skill before he can help Makoto with this🦋 problem. Makoto will lock at Rank 6 until your Charm skill is complete, so the sooner you do this, the better.
Have Gifts Ready for Makoto
All the ladies in Joker’s life enjoy receiving gifts as you rank up their Confidant, and Makoto is certainly no exception. Since you won’t always rank up your Confidant when you hang out with them, gifts are an excellent 🎃way to earn more affinity and inch closer to ranking up.
Makoto’s liked gifts are quite varied, and her tastes can become expensive. We’ve got an entire gift guide if you’d like all the details, but you’ll earn top marks with Makoto by giving her Designer Perfume, Heart Ring, or Heart Necklace.
Use Calm Answers in Conversation

With so much going on in her everyday life, Makoto needs a man who she can trust to be calm, cool, and collected. Several instances in her social link will present Joker and Makoto with tough situations, including but not limited to the club promoter who’s causing problems.
It’s critical that Joker stands up for Makoto in these situations and keeps a level head. We’ve got a full guide to how to advance Makoto’s Confidant ranking that details dialogue choices and point values, but the important thing to remember is that Joker should be a pillar of strength for Makoto.

After Makoto’s harrowing adventure comes to a close, she comes to realize she has plenty left to learn about people, relationships, and love. She’ll cཧome to Joker before too long, airing her co♎ncerns.
Later in the conversation, she’ll comment on her uncertainty with relationships. Replying with “I’ll be your study partner” will initiate a romantic relationship between Joker and Makoto. Keep in mind that this is an irreversible choice, and if 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Joker has another relationship, there will be consequences.
Reconvene With Makoto Once More To Reach Rank 10
But Makoto’s Confidant isn’t finished just because you two are dating now – she still has one more rank after Rank 9 to progress. Your scenes with female Confidants change🐽, if you’re dating them, but Makoto’s romance Rank 10 scene is absolutely adorable.
After she’s reached Rank 10, not only will Queen be able to shield Joker from an otherwise fatal attack if she’s in your dungeon-crawling party, but she’ll even awaken to a second and more powerful Persona, Anat, as well.
