The Pagoda of Disaster is conveniently weak to Strike physical attacks, which your team is not in short supply of.

Be careful when using elemental skills. Both Electric and Wind damage will heal this boss due to its affinities.

The floor guardian itself, Pagoda of Disaster, is nothing but a spell cannon. It will continuously launch a barrage of attacks every turn it can since it only knows Magarula and Mazionga. This enemy’s stats will get completely out of control once it has been buffed by i🌊ts allies.

Each of the boss’s allies, the two Tomes of Persecution, have the same affinities this time around unlike bosses on recent floors—looking at you Jotun of Authority—These two minions are both weak to Dark. The Pagoda of Disaster is normally affected by Dark, so using multi-target Dark moves would be beneficial.

These minions will heal whenever any Ice damage is in🍰fli🌠cted on them.

Both of the Tomes of Pe⛄rsecution know the same four moves: Bufudyne, Matarukaja, Masukukaja, and Marakukaja. Each minion will use one of the three buffing moves until all the foes have the buff associated with each one.

After there are no buffs left to give out, the🐈se enemies will use Bufudyne or just physically attack a target.

Pagoda Of Disaster Battle Guide

A picture of Persona 3 Reload showing Pagoda of Disaster and Mitsuru.

On the 151st floor of Tartarus awaits three enemies: the floor guardian, Pagoda of Disaster, and its two minions, the Tomes of Persecution. This trio is very tricky to defeat, requiring specific team members to navigate their elemental affinities and have the right skills to counteract their buffing tactics. The recommended level for this boss is 50.

Since the three of these enemies use skills from Wind, Ice, and Electric, you will want to avoid bringing team members that may be weak to these elements. That means Yukari and Aigis must stay home or risk being taken out without a second thought.

Team Composition

  1. The best option to pick first is Koromaru with his Dark skills. That is because he will be the best member to deal with the two Tomes of Persecution.
  2. The next party member will want to have some kind of Strike physical attack to handle the Pagoda of Disaster.
  3. The third member can either be a support role with Dekaja and some kind of healing skill or a full offensive attacker with the protagonist taking on the support role.

When the fight starts, make sure your first priority is defeating the two minions, as leaving them up for even a single buff cast can devastate 🐓your team.

Koromaru Can Take Care Of Both Tomes Of Persecution

The best team member to swiftly defeat the two tomes is Koromaru thanks to his Cerberus Persona.

Koromaru should use Maeiga every time he is able to. This will cause both of the Tomes of Persecution to be Downed as long as the attack does not miss. Afterward, switch to a member who can blast the Pagoda of Disaster with a Strike physical skill during “the one” more window.

With all three enemies knocked down, you and your teammates can hit the boss and its min♛ions with All-Out att😼acks.

Akihiko Is Going To Smash The Pagoda Of Disaster

A picture of Persona 3 Reload showing Pagoda of Disaster about to be hit by Gigantic Fist.

When considering your team selection, it is important to watch out for affinity weaknesses. However, in this case, Akihiko is so powerful - and the two Tomes of Persecution are so weak - that you should heavily cons𓃲ider taking Akihiko as he can do massive damage to the Pagoda of Disaster, effectively halving the time this encounter will take.

After knocking down the two minions with Maeiga, once Koromaru has an opportunity to pass to a teammate, pass the baton to Akihiko to land an incredible Gi𓆏gantic Fist on the Pagoda of Disast꧋er to set up an All-Out attack.

Alternatively, if it is Akihiko’s turn and no enemies have been downed yet, 𝓡complete the previous operations in reverse or💜der.

Bring Mitsuru To Pump Out Damage

A picture of Persona 3 Reload showing Mitsuru hovering Ice Break.

At the recommended level of 50, Mitsuru’s Persona Penthesilea has one of the scariest move sets available. Her Persona has two passives, Ice Boost and Freeze Boost, which c🌊an make her a massive boon in any fight where Ice is a viable option.

Penthesilea also has access to Ice Break, which negates the Ice resistances of all enemies for three turns. This will cause both minions to not only lose their Drain affinity to Ice but also become normally affected by it and able to be froz🍌en. Combine that with the two passives mentioned earlier, and Mitsuru will lay the enemies down for good.

Start your firstꩲ round with Mitsuru by using Ice Break. Then, on the subsequent turn, just lay into the trio with Mabufula, heavily chunking their🦹 health.

The Protagonist Needs Dekaja For The Enemy

With two enemies using party-wide buffing moves, a cast will inevitably go off. If that happens, you will need to use Dakaja to clear the buffs off of the foes. Since none of the other selected members have this sk🍸ill, the responsibility will fall on the Protagonꦓist.

The best Persona for this fight would be the Death Arcana, Pisaca. There are several Personas that k𝓀now Dejakaඣ, but they all come with some kind of affinity disadvantage for this fight. Pisaca is the opposite, having resistance to Electric attacks.

Pisaca also comes with two other important boons. First, it can use Maeiha to inflict decent damage on the two minions and Down them. Second, it can use Foul Breath on an enemy to make it more susceptible to Mitsuru’s already scary high chance of Freezing them.
