After Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater's remake was finally revealed, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Persona 3 may well have taken the crown of worst-kept secret in the gaming industry. Now that has officially been shown off too, but its creators have revealed 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Persona 3 Reload ♕might not be everything fans of the series are expe🔴cting.

While you may have assumed Reload will include modernized versions of the base Persona 3 game and its additional content/spinoffs, that is not going to be the case. Reload producer Ryota Niitsuma and chief director Kazuhisa Wada told following the reveal at the Xbox Showcase that neither FES nor Portable will be a part of Reload.

“Since the basic concept of the Persona 3 remake was to remake the Persona 3, we don't have the FES and Portable contents included,” Niitsuma confirmed. “We wanted to really genuinely work on recreating the Persona 3 experience.”

Persona 3 Reload Aegis

Persona 3 launched on PS2 and received FES as additional content via an entirely new disc a year later. Persona 3 Portable was, as you might expect, a handheld version of the game that launched on PSP. A lack of content from the latter version in Reload might upset Persona 3 fans the most. It will mean no ability to play as different characters in Reload, including Persona 3's female protagonist.

That doesn't mean FES and Portable won't be a part of the remake eventually though, of course. While Niitsuma and Wada weren't prepared to comment, it seems likely more will be coming to Persona 3 Reload in the future, whether via DLC or an updated version of the game. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Persona 5 got that via Royal, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Persona 4 has Golden.

Persona 3 Reload was heavily rumored to be revealed this weekend even before its trailer was accidentally upl✱oaded to Instagram by Atlus. Likely annoying Xbox, as it was clearly supposed to be a surprise. The trailer was quickly removed, but the damage had been done. On the bright side, the Xbox Showcase was so packed with exciting reveals and updates, that the fact that many people had already seen the Persona 3 news didn't end up being that detrimental.

Reload's creators also explained that the goal was to bring Persona 3 into the present day by rebuilding the game on the same model and using the same engine as it used for Persona 5. Persona 5 will be getting bigger too as Tactica, which was also leaked ahead of time so expected during the Showcase, has also been announced. There's a lot for Persona fans to get excited about, even if Reload won't be as complete a remake as some might have hoped.
