's director, Takuya Yamaguchi, has revealed that Reload has more scenes with voice-acted dialogue than any other game in the series.

After having been rumoured for years and then leaked just days before its official announcement, we finally know for sure that Persona 3 Reload is a thing and that it's coming in early 2024. Although Atlus usually announces titles and then leaves it for some time until we hear more, this time around it's started the marketing cycle a whole lot earlier, with several different outlets getting to talk to the development team already and find out a lot more about the scale of the remake.

One great example of the remake's scope is with its voice acting, which it apparently has more of than any other Persona game. , , including general producer Kazuhisa Wada, director Takuya Yamaguchi, and producer Ryota Niitsuma. During the interview, 4Gamer asks the developers about how Persona's iconic Social Links will be implemented in the remake.

In response, Yamaguchi and Niitsuma revealed that Social Links in Persona 3 Reload will have voice acting for every rank-up scene, something that hasn't been the case for past games in the series, which usually only have a few specific rank-up scenes with voiced dialogue. That's big enough news as it is, but Yamaguchi also revealed that Reload features the most scenes with voice acting in the whole Persona series, which is quite the feat.

As translated by Noisy Pixel's Ryuji, Yamaguchi said, "[Persona 3 Reload contains] the largest number of voiced lines in the series. The title is originally quite long to play, but if you listen to the voices carefully as you progress through the game, I think you will enjoy it that much more."

Speaking of Social Links, it was also implied that Reload will make it easier to max out all of them in one playthrough. The remake's general producer, Kazuhisa Wada, noted that the original game wasn't designed to allow this, but that the way that we play games has changed now, which seems to indicate that it'll be a lot easier to do for most players.

Wada said, "The way of playing the game has also changed between the original and the present. At that time, the game was not designed in such a way that♕ you could max out all the Social Lin🔯ks in a single round. But players have made a lot of effort to achieve it, and I’m really surprised."
