How To Unlock The Hermit Social Link
On April 28, Mitsuru will tell you that the internet line that was damaged by a Shadow attack will be fixed the next day. Junpei will then come up to you and offer you a copy of an online game he used to play.
You'll be able to play the online game on holidays starting on April 29, when the internet is fully connected to your laptop.
This online game is where you'll meet Maya, the person you'll bond with to form the Hermit Social Link.
Take note that spending the holiday playing the MMORPG on your laptop and hanging out with Maya will take up the daytime. It'll be evening once you're through with playing for the day.
Hermit Social Link Overview
The Social Link you can form with Maya is of the Hermit Arcana. You'll be able to gain bonuses when fusing Hermit Personas, thanks to this Social Link.
You can also gain bonuses when you hang out with Maya while you have a Persona of the Hermit Arcana.
You'll be able to spend time with Maya and grow this Social Link's rank on holidays, where you have free time to play games in your room.
To play the online game with Maya, you simply need to interact with the laptop on your desk in your room. Then, choose to play your MMORPG to begin hanging out with her.
The Best Social Link Answers For Maya At Each Rank
After you form a bond with Maya, you can hang out with her to grow the rank of your Hermit Social Link.
Choosing to hang out with her for the day will garner you a +1 to your Social Link. If you want to increase the points you get during your time with her further, you should choose favorable responses.
Having a Hermit Persona with you during your time together with Maya will increase the points that you get from favorable responses to a maximum of +3 points.

Hermit Social Link Rank 10 Reward
The highest rank you can reach in your Hermit Social Link is ten. When you reach rank 10 with Maya, she'll show you her appreciation for listening to her and being her friend by giving you Screenshot Data as a gift.
This is data of all of your conversations with her, and it is actually also a key item that enables the fusion of the Persona, Arahabaki.
You can conduct Persona fusions in the Velvet Room. The entrance to the room can be found in Paulownia Mall and on the first floor of Tartarus during the Dark Hour.
Should You Max Out Your Hermit Social Link
You can only meet Maya online on holidays, so maxing this Social Link out to reach rank 10 can take time early on.
That being said, if you choose unfavorable responses in your conversations with Maya, it can take time for your bondꦫ with h🅺er to grow.
The benefits of maxing out your Hermit Social Link is that Elizabeth will give you Twilight Fragments as your bond with Maya grows, and you'll be able to fuse Arahabaki at rank 10.
Getting the Screenshot Data is the only way to unlock the ability to fuse Arahabaki.
If you'd rather not work on maxing this Social Link out quickly, it's recommended that you at least unlock the bond with Maya as soon as possible.
This will give you the bonus in fusing Hermit Personas early on, and this can give you strong Personas that will make it easier to deal with Shadows.
It's better to unlock the Hermit Social Link first before you fuse any Hermit Personas to gain bonuses from fusion right away.
In terms of connections to other Social Links, playing the MMORPG and meeting Maya does not lead you to unlocking other Social Links.
You can put this Social Link off for the ones you can unlock at school because those can unlock other Soc🐻ial Links you can grow.
