The downside is that charging his Theurgy faster requires landing crits, something that is luck-based. While Junpei's trait increases his critical hit rate, the chance is never 100 percent. Blaze of Life also can't take advantage of Junpei's high attack stat or crit rate due to being of the fire element.

Once she resolves to fight in memory of her father, Mitsuru obtains her second Theurgy. Blade of Execution is a massive almighty attack that lowers all stats of one foe. You would want to buff your characters' stats anyway, which benefits you in multiple ways.

Ken Amada

Ken's new Theurgy is several support skills rolled into one. Devine Intervention allows Ken to heal the party entirely as well as revive any downed teammates and create a barrier to reflect physical and magical damage. What makes this such a good Theurgy is its sheer versatility.

You can save your team during a hard fight, reflect a boss's attack for free, and save Ken's SP. The one issue is his charge condition requires Ken to be low on SP. The issue comes from his trait that restores Ken's SP a little each turn, causing these aspects to conflict.

Yukari Takeba & Koromaru

These two are together since their Theurgies are inverses of each other. With tranquility and Power Howling, you cause the entire party's next magic or physical attack to deal twice as much damage, respectively. You could typically only do this if the character already has the Charge or Concentrate skill. With these Theurgies, however, Yukari and Koromaru allow every character to fight at their maximum potential.

It also saves on SP since Theurgies do not cost 💧any. Both characters have easy charge requirements for their Theurgies. Yukari must heal, which she often does, while Koromaru has to strike a weakness. Yukari notably has a great ꧑trait, halving the cost of her support skill, making building her Theurgy cost almost nothing.

Fuuka Yamagishi

Fuuka's new Theurgy doesn't change much from her original. It still offers the party a random buff or positive effect. However, the types of effects granted are where this Theurgy shines. Fuuka maintains her ability to buff the party's stats while gaining some new possible benefits. Fuuka can now possibly heal all HP and SP and grant a party-wide Charge and Concentrate.

The bane of a long run through Tartarus is running low on SP and needing to leave, so Fuuka granting a free restore to the entire party is immensely helpful. In addition, you don't need to use a turn buffing yourself with a Charge or Concentrate since Fuuka allows everybody both. The best part is, since she isn't actively in the fight, you can use her Theurgy whenever you'd like. This action does not cost a turn.
