Peak is a cooperative climbing game with high-altitude traversal and hidden survival mechanics. Each biome is dangerous, and once you enter the Tropic zone, one of the more insidious threats you’ll face is the tick. These parasites latch onto your legs and deal poison damage over time, even if you haven’t touched a plant or eaten anything strange. If you notice a sl🐈ow poisꦛon effect and can’t figure out why, chances are it's a tick.

While they’re relatively easy to deal with once spotted, catching ticks early can make all the difference between a clean climb and a frustrating one. Below, we’ll walk you through h💜ow to remove ticks and what to u🔯se them for afterward.
How To Remove A Tick
In Peak, you or a teammate might notice a growing, black dot on your leg, and you'll see ongoing poison damage. This is a tick.
Removing a tick in multiplayer is pretty simple. If it is feeding, stand still and have a friend approach and press E to yank it off. Then use an antidote, a medkit (heals four ticks of poison) or a cure-all to stop the poison.
If you're playing solo, removing a tick is more difficult. To check if you have one, look down, and you'll see a tiny tick feeding on your leg. Unfortunately, you can't remove it until the tick has swollen large enough to grab. Once it is, bend down and press E to get rid of it.
If a teammate's🍌 stamina droౠps inexplicably, check their legs just in case!
Peeling off a tick stops the ongoing poison, but remember it won’t reverse damage already taken. You’ll still need to use a consumable to cure or heal yourself.
After removal, you can pick up the tick as an item. You can eat it for a tiny hunger refill or stash it for later. Oddly enough, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:eating a tick progresses the Foraging Badge achievement, which asks you to eat five distinct berries in a single ဣclimbing expedition.
