There are several ways to customize a character in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous. One that's unique to this game is the Mythic Path, a choice each character makes at certain points in the story, or after they reach certain milestones. The Mythic Path doesn't have to be related to class, but sometimes the extra powers it grants are more or less effective depending on your character's moral alignment.
One of the Mythic Paths that appeals more to Evil or Neutral moral alignments is the fearsome, visceral, and generally overpowered Swarm-That-Walks. It's also one of the more difficult paths to discover and unlock, starting in Chapter Two and finally culminating in Chapter Five, so you need to have some patience and diligence along with a strong stomach.
When Chapter Two Begins, Send Queen Galfrey Away
This step is the crucial one that ensures this Mythic Path remains available. It's best to have a save point before the end of Chapter One as a reference just in case.
After successfully retaking the Grey Garrison, the Road to Drezen begins and Queen Galfrey offers to stay with the Crusade and act as one of your Advisors. Reject her offer, and she'll leave.
You don't have to be mean about it, which depends on the role-play options and the character's alignment. It's important that Galfrey is not present for certain upcoming events, otherwise, your character will be locked out of the Swarm-That-Walks Mythic Path.
Leper's Smile And The Vescavor Queen
Leper's Smile is also an important location for two other Mythic Pathways, the Lich and the Golden Dragon. The items associated with these options are the Wand of Zacharias and Terendelev's Claw, which are located in loot caches underground. Find the entrance to the underground passageways through a cave located behind the remains of the Vescavor Queen.
After the party emerges successfully from Leper's Smile and kills the Vescavor Queen, she leaves behind some green, slimy goo. Upstanding moral characters will make sure Anevia destroys this toxic sludge immediately, which means you're going to keep it.
Anevia will be repulsed by your request to save the slime, but she'll do as you ask. The Queen won't be so agreeable, which is why she can't be around for the next step.
Take Back Drezen With The Secret Weapon
When the protagonist and their advisors are planning their assault on Drezen, a number of different suggestions are available. Nurah suggests a stealthy route via the ruins and a prison and Regill wants to attack the giants on the wall, and the protagonist can lead the army to the front gates, but as long as you still have the Vescavor Queen's goo, another choice exists.
Using an oblivious suicide squad as the delivery method, the protagonist hatches a dastardly plan to use the swarm against the demon horde controlling Drezen. This is an essential step to unlocking the Swarm-That-Walks Path, and if Galfrey is🎀 present during this council, she vetoes this idea without discussion, anജd the player is permanently locked out.
Spare The Young Vescavor Queen
Once you've retaken Drezen and the dust has settled, which makes this Chapter Three, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a nascent Vescavor Queen is discovered in Drezen. Players that don't take this Mythic Path will hear rumors of the sleeping queen but might never find it.
There's an option to kill it, but make sure the bug survives. This is another essential step, and if you ki💟ll ꧅the Vescavor Queen at this point, the Swarm-that-Walks Path will no longer be open to your character.
Confront And Defeat Xanthir Vang
The Ivory Sanctum is a location that players hear about for several chapters before finally reaching it in Chapter Four. There are a number of important bosses that the adventuring party faces here, and one of them is the notorious Xanthir Vang.
Players that follow the Swarm-That-Walks Mythic Path are expected to treat Vang as a mentor and teacher, even though he's always an enemy, and your task here is to defeat him. Make sure you choose the dialogue options that ask how he became a swarm and pick up his notes before you leave.
Complete The Research Tasks
After the confrontation with Xanthir Vang, the options for some related research projects will become available via the Command Headquarters. It 𓄧takes two weeks to finish them, w♑hich is normal for a major project connected to a Mythic Path.
Anevia will approach you in the Command Headquarters in Drezen once they are complete, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:and she'll mention how concerned everyone is about the research you're doing. We're supposed to be fighting a bug demon, not researching them, right?
As long as you make dialogue choices that show you're determined to continue the path you've chosen, the Swarm-that-Walks Path stays open. Express any regret or say that you'll stop the research, and the path is no longer available.
A Final Meal
This last step isn't pretty, but nobody who follows this path does it because they want to make friends. Unless the plan is to eat those friends, which is what the final unlocking of this Mythic Path entails. The main character eats the young Vescavor Queen in Drezen.
This is the final step in the physical process of becoming the Swarm-that-Walks. At this point, your Companions either leave or you devour them. All of your Crusader army units become swarms and gain the special power of Swarm Infest, which allows them to use swarms in their attacks. The character gets the powers Swarm Clone, in which you can make copies of yourself using the swarm, and Swarm Feast, which makes bugs fly from your bod𝕴y and devour ♋the target.
