To respec a skill, y🌼ou need to visit the Hooded One and pay a small amount of gold to refun𝓀d one skill point, ✱which doesn't sound all that bad in itself.
Unfortunately, the amount of gold you need to respec doesn't change depending on how many skills you've unlocked, which means a small amount of gold quickly racks up to tens of thousands if you have a more drastic respec in mind.
