How To Find Distilled Emotions?
Distilled Emotion is a type of currency introduced in Path of Exile 2, which essentially combines the effects of Blight Oils and Delirium Orbs from the original game. There are ten types of Distilled Emotions in the game:
-
Distilled Despair
-
Distilled Disgust
-
Distilled Greed
-
Distilled Ire
-
Distilled Suffering
-
Distilled Paranoia
-
Distilled Guilt
- Distilled Envy
- Distilled Fear
- Distilled Isolation
Here are all the different ways in which you can farm Distilled Emotions:
Mechanic |
How to Get |
---|---|
Delirium Maps |
The primary method of obtaining Distilled Emotion is by completing Maps / Waystones with the Delirium mechanic. It is denoted by a white icon – not to be confused with Expedition. In these Maps, you will notice Delirium Fog all around the area, with a progress bar in the bottom-left corner. Your objective is to defeat as many monsters as you can before the Delirium Fog dissipates. Once done, you will get a bunch of rewards, including random Distilled Emotions. |
Currency Exchange or Trade Website |
A far easier way of getting Distilled Emotions is by using the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Currency Exchange or . |
Reforging Bench |
You can also 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:use the Reforging Bench to upgrade your Distilled Emotions. You will need to put three Distilled Emotions of the same type to get one of a higher-tier. This is particularly helpful in SSF if you are unable to get your des🌸ired Distilled Emotions. |
Simulacrum |
Completing waves of Simulacrum can also provide you with some Distilled Emotions. However, it is an end-game aspirational activity that requires a fairly 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:strong build. |
When farming Distilled Emotions, try to have a fully-specced Delirium Tree, appropriate Precursor Tablets, and Tier-15 Waystones.
How To Anoint?
Like the original game, Anointing is a simple mechanic in Path of Exile 2. There are currently two types of items that you can Anoint, Waystones, and Amulets. The process is slightly different, but it is nothing complicated. Here is everything you need to know about how to Anoint each item:
Amulets
To Anoint an Amulet, simply right-click (Square / X on controller) on any Distilled Emotion to open up the Instilling Window. In this menu, put your Amulet in the slot at the top, and three Distilled Emotions at the bottom. There are multiple Notable ✨Passive Skills that you can Ano🌺int.
To check which Distilled Emotions are needed for a specific Anoint, open up the Passive Skill Tree, hover over your desired Notable Passive Skill, and press Alt (R3 on controller).
Anoints are completely build-dependent; therefore, be sure to double-check what your build needs. If you ever need to change your Anoint, repeat the same process to overwrite your previous Anoint.
At the time of writing this, there is no way to Anoint a Corrupted or Mirrored Amulet. The feature is available in the original Path of Exile, so it should not take long to be implemented in Path of Exile 2.
Waystones
You can Anoint your Waystones to add Delirium effects to them. Depending on the Distilled Emotion used, you can get additional effects like more monsters, increased Simulacrum Splinters, additional currency drops, etc.
Similar to Amulets, to Anoint a Waystone, click on a Distilled Emotion (Square / X on controller) to open the Instilling Window. Place your Waysꦓtone in there along w𝓡ith the desired Distilled Emotions.
Remember that Anointing a Waystone makes it significantly harder. Therefore, we do not recommend doing it unless you have a very strong endgame build.
Also, similar to Amulets, you cannot Anoint a Corrupted Waystone. Here is a complete list of all the Map Mods that you can get by Anointing your Waystones:
