Deadeye Lightning Arrow Build Overview

Lightning Arrow skill display in Path of Exile 2.

The Deadeye🐲 Lightning Arrow is one of the most basic a🅰nd yet strongest builds in the game. The spells you need to make this build work can be picked up right in the prologue before you even start the campaign. The rest of the skills are simple additions to make your build stronger.

Deadeಞye is one of the Ascendancies of the Ranger class. You can unlock Deadeye in Act II after completing Trial of Sekhemas for the first time.

The basic idea is to combine the Lightning Arrow spell with Lightning Rod. All you do is drop a couple of Lightning Rod on the enemy and then follow that up with your powerful Lightning Arrow. In most cases, you will end up stunning the bosses for a couple of seconds, thereby opening up a free window to deal damage.🀅

Additionally, the Deadeye class is quite evasive and all you need to do is stack up resistances and Evasion Rating. This allows you to not only evade almos꧂t anything that the boss throws at you but also tank a🙈 few occasional hits.

Once you combine the Deadeye's evasive features in addition to its outrageous damage, ༺you will clear most of the content in the game with ease. Once you have your build ready, bosses will die before they even have a chance to change phases. Finally, it's important to mention this build works extremely well in clearing mobs as well, making farming very easy.

Act I

While in other classes Act I is all about using placeholders, for the Ranger class, you receive the primary two components of your build here itself. These include Lightning Rod and Lightning Arrow. You can attach Lightning Infusion and Martial Tempo to Lightning Arrow.

You can use more Uncut Support Gems to unlock Scattershot and Concentrated Effect and attach those to Lightning Rod. Defeat the King of the Mists boss for an Uncut Spirit Gem and unlock Wind Dancer.

You'll also need to unlock Voltaic Mark and attach Magnified Effect to it. As for Orb of Storms, unlock Unleash and Chain and attach both to it f꧋or further effಌectiveness of the skill.

  • Orb of Storms: Unleash + Chain
  • Voltaic Mark: Magnified Effect

Act III and Cruel Mode

When it comes to the passive tree you'll need quite a few stats to perfect your build. The primary stats to look out for areꦯ anything that i꧂mproves Dexterity, Lightning damage, attack damage, skill speed, projectile damage, and evasion rating. Some of the key passive skills you'll have to unlock are as follows:

  • Catlike Agility
  • Vile Wounds
  • Clean Shot
  • Master Fletching
  • Harness the Elements
  • Surging Currents

Gear Requirement

DualString Bow showcase in Path of Exile 2.

When it comes to gear, there are quite a few things you'll need. However, the most essential component of this build is a DualString Bow. These bows release two arrows instead of one which increases your damage output by a sigꩲnificant amount. They might be hard to get, so you can use other bows with Physical Damage and Lightning Damage bonuses.

However, switch to a DualString Bow whenever possible. If you don't find one, you can use an Exalted Orb to buy the Unique Death's Harp DualString Bow from the Path of Exile 2 trade shop. This isn't optimal as it has Crit stats which you don't need. However, you can use it until you get a Rare DualString Bow. You can also use the Unique Widowhail Crude Bow.

You need level 28 to wield𒀰 the Death's Harp DualStr🅰ing Bow.

Apart f🔥rom that, you'll need to look for Evasion Rating, Energy Shield, health, and mana regeneration on your body armor. Resistance🌸s are also important, and you'll need to max it out for Cold, Fire, Chaos, and Lightning so that you can survive in Maps. You'll also need a lot of Spirit to use Herald of Thunder, Wind Dancer, and Cast on Shock at the same time.

Ascendancy Requirement

Tips and Tricks To Play Lightning Arrow Deadeye

Deadeye casting Herald of Thunder and Lightning Arrow in Path of Exile 2.

The Lightning Arrow Deadeye class is very simple to play. All you do is drop the Lightning Rods and then place the Orb of Storms over them. While 💞they damage the boss, use your Lightning Arrow to shoot at the enemies and deal massive damage.

Orb of🍎 Storms does not have a very big AoE, so make sure to place it over a boss along with the Lightning Rods for maximum damage.

In the meantime, Herald of Thunder and Cast on Shock will trigger. Herald of Thunder will drop Lightning from the sky, while Cast on Shock wiꦰll trigger Ball Lightning which will deal further damage to the bosses a🐼nd enemies.

Make sure to dodge the critical hits from the bosses and enemies, and they s☂hould die in no t🙈ime.
