Palworld brings you on a journey through Palpagos Islan💎d, where a lot of monsters with elemental powers roam around a🉐nd help you build a sturdy base for you to live in. However, not everyone is happy to see you, and some strange groups might want to kick you out of this land.

From time to time, you will get attacked at your base by some groups belonging to the many factions warring across Palpagos Island, and you must be prepared to deal with it if you want to✤ survive. Here we'll tell you all that you need to know to survive raid attacks.

What Are Raid Attacks?

Raid attacks are situations in Palworld where one of the many factions in the game or a group of wild Pals might attack your base, trying to destroy as much as they can before you and your worker pals can fend them off in combat. To successfully survive a raid, you must be always prepared, and you can place traps, tools, and weaponry that your Pals can use to defend themselves.

Enemies defeated during a raid will drop the ꦆusual items they drop in the wil🃏d, and any enemy Pal can be captured as if it were a wild one.

How To Deal With A Raid Attack

Even though the game does warn you, it will take a while for the enemy forces to arrive, which gives you time to prepare. Release your companion Pal of choice, be sure you have the necessary ammunition, make sure that your traps are on point and your Pals are allowed to react to the aggression, and let the confrontation begin.

Keep in mind that the enemy forces will only become aggressive once they're inside the base grounds.

Best Construction Tips

You Must Have The High Ground

First off, you should build your base while keeping all the possible points of access in mind. The higher you build, the more likely that your base grounds will have fewer points for enemies to walk through, so you should aim to have a base on high ground, only accessible by one or two pathways, and (ideally) naturally covered.

Walls Change Everything

Building walls that surround your headquarters is mandatory, and once you unlock more materials to build, you will gain access to walls with better defensive capabilities. Remember to add a door for you to walk in and out, but if the enemies have trouble getting into your territory, they will probably get tired of trying after a few minutes, and retreat.

Mind Your Tools And Weapons

After a few updates, you will gain access to Traps, Alarm Bells, and Mountable Weapons. These will make sure that, even if you're not there, your Pals will defend their home, and any enemy squad trying to get in will find a world of pain waiting for them.

As you keep progressing through the game, you can unlock more tools, structures, and weapons to build on your base, which in turn will help to upgrade your base so it becomes a proper fortress. Here is the full list:
