As you start to level up in Palworld, you will find there are so many different technologies that you can use𓄧 your research points to unlock. Unlocking technology do🧸es require you to use points, which you can only gain by leveling up. Leveling up your base also unlocks new levels of technology that you can then go through and unlock. All of these technologies can be quite overwhelming!

Some of them are actually just decorations to make your base a little more cozy while others are things that you do need to progress in the game. It's not always obvious which ones are needed to continue your progression within the game. The most important technology to invest in does help you progress and has features too; they aren't just for decoration, though if you are looking to complete the entire game, you might end up unlocking them over time.

6 ✨ Cooler Box

Keep Your Food From Spoiling

At level 13, you will be able to spend two technology points on the Cooler Box, which is basically a fridge. It's used to keep your food from rotting. At this point, you will likely have a lot of mouths to feed between your party and yourself, as well as a lot of food to cook and consume.

All food rots quite quickly when not placed in a cooler box, so this really can help with keeping everything fed. You will need to have an Ice pal in order to run and maintain the cooler box. The ice pal will need need to be assigned to the base where 🦩the cooler box is.

Pengullets is a great option for keeping your cooler box cold, as they are ea⛦sy to capture and are near your base quite early on, found just in front of you, beyond the mammoth.

The berry plantation is a really easy unlock at level five. This garden area does require a bit of interaction, as you will need to seed the area, then water the area, let everything grow, and then harvest the area. Break Down Stone And Wood

If you are looking to more quickly get Paldium Fragments and Fiber, you can unlock The Crusher at level eight. This does require a water pal to run, but having unlimited fragments and fiber fro🧸m such common materials like stone and wood can really help free up space🌟 and make these common resources into something better for gameplay.

You will always need more Paldium Fragments, especially as you catch a bunch of pals, so having the ability to🔯 make the fragments yourself is actually really helpful.

If you have a stone pit from the previous base level in your base, this is a no-brainer, as you can set your pals up t꧅o make unlimited fragments to then make into spheres!

3 Fluffy Pal Bed 🗹 💝

Let Your Pals Sleep Better

If you find your pets don't have much health and mental stability, you can upgrade their bed at level 24, which will allow you to build them a better bed.

As your pals are used in a lot of your day-to-day work at your base, having a proper place to sleep will help your b🌄ase in the long run. It will be especially useful when being attacked by raids, whi🌺ch can do damage on your pals, or if your playstyle is a bit hands-on and bossy when it comes to what your pals should be doing.

2 ൩ Mega Sphere

Catch Pals Easier

After you have spent some time using your spheres to catch pals, you will find that your percentages just aren't good even if you've beaten them down. At that point, it's time to invest in the Mega Sphere at level 14.

This is a technology that's quite easy to pass by, but it's really needed to get the larger pals and to make catching a lot easier. As your pals get stronger, they can often kill off a pal before you are able to catch it with a sphere, so having a more effective ball can decrease your chances of letting your desired pal die.

Spheres and Mega Spheres are crafted by pals with handiwork, which is the majority of the early stage pals you will run into, includ💙ing Lamball, which you can catch five of for your tutorial quests.

Tanzee is a very useful pal when added to your party. They are able to do lumbering for you out in the wild when not needed to fight against enemies.

Upgrading Tanzee so ౠthat they can hold a gun and fight when activated makes them a very powerful distraction and allows them to do a lot of damage when fighting, which will give you the upper edge.

Tanzee doesn't have the best aim, but they do a lot of damage when they hit, which can make for great distractions when it comes to taking on bigger enemies.
