Whale of a Tale is a quest in Palia that t😼asks you with solving a whale-sized mystery. Here, you can learn how to⛦ fully complete this quest.

If that isn't enough to pique curiosity, there arꦦe Starstones which are part of an astrology system unique to the world of Palia. Villagers may make passing references to their Star Path or Starstone on rare occasions, but it𒆙's a good idea to know how to obtain and use Starstones.

Where To Find Starstones

In Palia, Starstones represent and correlate to a constellation. Starstones are tangible reminders of a person's Star Path.

The Star Path is determined at birth, taking into consideration the season and the Luna Moon sign, which has to do with moon phases. For villagers, a Star Path seems to help solidify an identity and guide life choices.

As a part of a villager's Star Path, Starstones carry a great deal of significance. They can all be found through mining. Some are common and relatively easy to obtain, while others are rare and will take quite a bit of time.

Different mining nodes will provide access to a different selection of Starstones. You can find Starstones while mining in Kilima Village, as well as Bahari Bay.

If you're loop-mining to get Starstones, remember to mine all the nodes in the immediate area, including nodes you don't necessarily want, such as small ones or stone nodes. This will help the nodes respawn more quickly to en🌠sure everyone♔ has a chance to access resources.

Characteristics Associated With Each Moon Phase

A person's moon phase usually indicates a person has certain values or traits. It's not a guarantee, but there's also probably room for different interpretations of these characteristics. It's also likely that some people have strong characteristics from multiple moon phases, and your most obvious strength would be related to your moon phase at birth.

What To Do With Starstones

There are a few things you can do with Starstones. One way to use them is to gift villagers their official Starstone, which should always be a loved gift.

Additionally, you can sell the Starstones for a good amount of money. Mining hasn't been one of the most lucrative hobbies, and Starstones help make it more competitive with some of the other hobbies that make decent money.

Since these are a nice favorite gift for villagers, it's good to keep a few of each Starstone on hand. If you prefer not to take up precious inventory space, they can always be sold for a healthy influx of money.
