From myth to reality, the liberator final🐭ly returns from the dead꧑!

There’s little doubt that there’s a lot for the One Piece manga to reveal surrounding Luffy and his unique powers, but let’s take a look at what we do know about♍ Luffy, Joyboy, and the Drums of Liberation.

What Are The Drums Of Liberation?

The Drums Are A Sign Of Things To Come

Luffy Smiling While Falling

Contrary to how they sound, the Drums of Liberation are not actual drums, so there’s no drummer in the literal sense and there’s not even really a song that the drums are beating out either. Instead, the Drums of Liberation is the sound that Luffy’s heart makes when he takes on his Gear 5 form. The rhythmic pattern is differe😼nt from the usual sound that most attribute to the heartbeat, quite possibly separating him from everyone else on the planet.

Luffy reaches this state while fighting the former Emperor, Kaidou of the Beasts in Wano. D𒁏uring this climatic fight, Luffy reached a new level of power, tapping into the true attributes of his Devil Fruit, the Gum-Gum Fruit, or Gomu Gomu no Mi. During the fight, Luffy is temporarily knocked out by Kaౠido while they were fighting on the top of the Skull Dome during the last hours of the Raid on Onigashima.

The wo🌟rld of One Piece has plenty of mysteries to uncover, but one has had fans questioning for years, what exactly is the Will of D?

While unconscious, Luffy’s heart began t✅o beat strangely, the fight triggering the next stage in the awakening of his Devil Fruit powers. Luffy’s hair turned white, his pupils became ringed while his eyebrows curled into spirals, and steam covered his body at all times.

Additionally, the rubber attributes of Luffy’s body gai🥃n almost a comical approach, while also simultaneously letting him control other people as if they were made of rubber too. When this occurred, thousands of miles away, the island-sized elephant Zunesha where the Minks live in the nation of Zou, declared that Luffy’s heartbeat had become the Drums of Liberation and that Joyboy had returned to the world.

Most importantly, the Drums of Liberat🌼ion are a sign that change is coming. They signal the return of a revolutionary who will free people from the shackles oꦦf slavery and oppression.

Who Is Joy Boy?

So, What Does Joy Boy Have To Do With This?

One Piece What Are the Drums of Liberation Luffy Gear 5 Joy boy

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Joy Boy is less of a person and more of a title. Two people have been called Joy Boy, Luffy, and another mysterious, unnamed individual🧸 from more than 800 years ago. During the Void Century, a figure traveled the vast oceans of the One Piece World, bringing, presumably, joy and great change to the various nations and peoples he encountered along the way.

Among those that Joy Boy came into contact with include the Fish Men from Fish-Man Island, promising to return to them one day though he was never able to fulfill his commitment. He also encounters Zunesha and the Minks, forming a bond with the massive elephant. His tale would seemingly end when he stumbled across an island known as Laugh Tale by Gol D. Roger, and there he would find an unknown treasure, one that would inspire pirates and adventurers to seek it, and what would eventually become known🎃 as the One 🌃Piece.

Joy Boy’s adventures were recorded in part on the Poneglyphs, which can only be read by a few trained people like Nico Robi🐎n and members of the highest levels of the World Government. There it is mentioned that Joy Boy will return 800 years after the Void Century, which technically happened the second Luffy ate his Devil Fruit.

Turns out, Luffy’s Devil Fruit isn’t just the Gum-Gum Fruit. With the World Government concerned about the power that Joy Boy holds, they tried to obtain the fruit for themselves, but failed for nearly 800 years, right up until the point where the manga begins. Shanks was supposed to be transporting the Devil Fruit, 🎐which the Five Elders, beings who publicly control the World Government, had intentionally renamed to the Gum-Gum Fruit, to throw off anyone who might suspect the true nature of the Fruit.
