Who Are The Arlong Pirates?
The Arlong Pirates are a Fish-men group, meaning all membe꧒rs are male and half-fish. All except Nami, of course. The Arlong Pirates see humans as inferior creatures and t♏hat they are the superior species. These Fish-men have special abilities pertaining to their aquatic nature, including being able to breathe underwater.
There is another Fish-men group that has long since been abandoned, called the Sun Pirates. It is known that most of the members of Arlong's group used to be part of this other fish clan.
When the Arlong Pirates are introduced to us, they have long since seized control of the Conomi Islands. These islands consist of an inhabited portion called Arlo꧅ng Park, and two towns called Cocoyasi Village and Gosa Village🃏.
The Arlong Pirates tax these towns and order the ♌citizens to pay a certain amount of money every so often. If the townspeople of these villages do not cough up enough belli, Arlong will destroy the villages and kill everyone in them.
Gosa🤪 Village has already been destroyed by the Arlong Pirates when the Straw Hat Pirates visit.
Who Is Arlong?
Arlong is the leader of the group, h꧅ence the name. Befo꧙re the events during the Arlong Park Arc, Arlong used to know one of the Warlords of the Sea: Jinbe. Jinbe and Arlong were a part of the Sun Pirates together before everyone went their separate ways.
Arlong was imprisoned for some time after the Sun Pirates disbanded. Jinbe was able to use his connections (as one of the Seven Warlords) to release Arlong. Arlong isn't just some measly thug that Luffy bumps into, though. During the Arlong Park Arc, Arlong 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:carried the highest bounty in the East Blue.

Nami's Involvement With The Arlong Pirates
During this Arc, the viewers are almost led to believe that Nami is a trader who was just using Luffy and friends. It is revealed that she has been part of the Arlong Pirates crew this whole time. But why? What are Nami's true intentions?
Nami is not willingly with Arlong because she is evil. She has no choice. Arlong is blackmailing Nami.
