You've almost certainly heard of Monty Python, but♋ if you're not based in the UK, you've pr▨obably not heard of Mr. Blobby.

Mr. Blobby is an icon in Britain. He's a pink blob known for being an annoyance on whatever show he appears on, only able to utter his name, much like a Pokemon. According to , he wasn't the most popular figure, being dꩲescribed by the New York Times as "a metaphor for a nation gone soft in the head" and "proof of ▨Britain's deep-seated attraction to trash," attacked for throwing a child's birthday cake on the floor, and called a "pink, spotty, rubber tw*t," by comic Bob Mortimer.

But, while Blobby is clearly a divisive character, that didn't stop Morii from using him as inspiration for many of her cards. According to , at the EUIC, Morii stated that the character embodies "cuteness and creepiness at the same time," much like her claymation figures. This wa🅠s later confirmed by the artist, who retweeted the original tweet saying, "That's True!"

You can see from the gallery below just how Morii melds Mr. Blobby's personality with the cha🧜racters created on the card.

While Morii has been creating cards since almost the beginning of the Pokemon TCG, she's arguably most known for her range of Ditto, which are disguised as the Kanto starter Pokemon—Bulbasℱaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and Pikachu.

Long may her weird and wonderful cards continue.
