When you reach the Forsaken Monolith, you'll come face to face with one of the largest Deviant bosses in the region. This is the Fo꧑rsaken 𓆉Giant, and the fight with it takes several phases. With the variety of attacks this boss has, you'll need to be agile and focused to beat it.
How To Prepare For The Forsaken Giant
To prepare for your fight against the Forsaken Giant, you need to prepare the correct loadout and useful items.
You'll only have a short window for shooting at its weak spot. It's better to have a long-range automatic weapon so that you can shower 🍸it with bullets as quickly as possible.
Close-range weapons can be used to deal with the Deviants that will be chasing you during the fight.

Past the edge of the platform is a drop. Make sure to stay away from the edges or you risk falling and dying. The Forsaken Giant also has attacks that will knock you away, so avoid being c♔lose to the edge when it starts preparing to attack you.
Like every Deviant, the Forsaken Giant has a weak spot. This spot glows red, but it moves around its body during the fight depending on the stage it is in. For maximum damage, aim for this spot when you're shooting at it.
During the first phase of the battle, the Forsaken Giant has two attacks:
- A slam attack where it drives its fist onto the spot you're standing on.
- A sweep attack where it slides its arm across the battlefield from one end to the other.
When it slams its fist on the ground, you can run away so it misses or roll at the exact moment its fist meets the ground.
Make sure to jump right after the Forsaken Giant hits the ground because the impact will create a shock wave.
For the sweeping attack, run away from it as quickly as possible. When the arm reaches the other end, it lifts from the ground just enough so that you can avoid it.
During the first phase, the Forsaken Giant will also spend a few moments crying. It will then drop Handling Giant Flower Buds, which you can pick up and throw at it when it covers its weak spot with its hands.

It's important to have enough space to move around for this phase, so as much as possible prevent the Forsaken Giant from destroying the center platform. Otherwise, you will have to jump across or pass through a small ledge along the edges of the field.
While avoiding its various attacks, make sure to keep dealing damage to the giant's weak spots. If you find it too difficult, you can form a team of four and the enemies will have to split their attention during the fight.
