When it comes to big online games like Once Human, you can never really be too ruthless when it comes to punishing players for bad behavior. Of course, different levels of naughtiness require fitting punishments, but deliberately cheating and giving yourself an advantage over everyone else is something that we can𓄧 all agree iಌs a pretty cruddy thing to do and should be punished pretty hard.
OnceHuman developer Starry Studios has decided to take no prisoners though, dishing out lengthy bans for bad behavior, specifically for "exploiting bugs for unfair advantages." In a statement on the game's official Discord server (thanks ), Starry Studios has explained that it will crack down on anyone exploiting bugs as it "undermines the fairness of the game."

Once Human's Data Privacy Problem Is The Norm, Not The Exception
Why is everyone mad at NetE💞ase when every company takes your data?
Bans for exploiting bugs range from anywhere between weeks to months, most likely depending on the severity of the case, but there is a surefire way to make sure you're not allowed to play Once Human for the next decade.
Once Human Is Handing Out 10 Year Bans For Players "Using Third Party-Software"
Once Human keeps , and it's here we can see the length of each ban. There's a large section dedicated to those that have exploited a recent bug, and an even larger section for those that have been banned for using third-party software, but the bans for this infraction last a whopping 3,600 days rather than just a week or two.
That's just under a decade (9 years, 10 months, 2 weeks and 1 day if we want to be specific) of being unable to play Once Human, so if you're enjoying the game right now and want to keep enjoying it, I suggest you stay well away of any third-party software. It it isn't given the okay by Starry Studios itself, keep clear.
You're also kind of named and shamed on the list too, as each ban listing includes a part of the banned person's player nickname, so there's exytra incentive to behave yourself.
And it does appear that a lot of people would like to keep playing Once Human, as the game's Steam reviews have recovered slightly after the overblown review bombing due to the game's terms of service.
