In many ways, Throné's journey has been a wildly successful one - she had to visit both sides of the world to track down the leaders of the Blacksnakes, and she managed to dispatch them with aplomb. Without Mother or Father, Throné is only one step away from freedom.

However, there is still that collar around her neck. The keys she obtained from the parental figures of the Blacksnakes didn't unlock it, and this chapter of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Octopath Traveler 2 has Throné🐟; returning to New Delsta for any clues as to how to be ri✱d of the wretched thing.

Town Phase: New Delsta

Octopath Traveler 2 - Some Blacksnakes at the graveyard in New Delsta

After the opening scenes of the chapter, you'll be in the backstreets of New Delsta. Your first target is the graveyard, which is just to your left. Head there to witness a short scene. Afterward, use Throné's Path Action to ambush the surviving Blacksnake.

Octopath Traveler 2 - Throne opening the locked door from the start of the game

Throné will obtain a clue from Pirro's grave that points you in the right direction: enter the sewers now, using the ladder just to your right after the cutscene, and make your way to the locked door that began Throné's entire story. Using the keys from Mother and Father, Throné will be able to unlock the door.

Continue down the ladder.

Dungeon Phase: Deserted Highroad

Octopath Traveler 2 - The Deserted Road

This short dungeon will lead you to another safe settlement, so don't worry about conserving your energy too much here.

Follow the path until you reach the bottom of a long ladder. Head to the left here to find a red chest containing some Dragon Mail. Now, head back and cross the rope bridge this time. Head all the way to the south and open the chest here to get some Slumber Sage.

Walk onto the platform to the left to begin a cutscene, and then speak to Guide afterward to get to 𓄧the other end of the ropeway.

Just to the south of the ropeway, near the cliff edge, is a chest that contains an Energizing Pomegranate (M). There's another chest on the way up the crumbling stairs here, which contains an Olive of Life (L). At the end of this road, you'll reach the town of Lostseed.

Town Phase: Lostseed

Octopath Traveler 2 - Lostseed

The only goal here is to enter the dungeon to the west, but🐼 there are some great things to find in this area.

  • The Ruined Vessel at the entrance has the Mooneater Dagger, which is a fantastic bit of equipment thanks to its ability that boosts both Fire and Wind attacks.
  • The merchant at the entrance carries Rosaries of Redemption. Normally, these accessories lower your physical attack and your critical stat, but with the Blessing in Disguise accessory, these negatives would be turned into positives.
  • The Hollow Vessel child just up the steps holds a Forbidden Elixir, which can be useful for a quick but risky surge of BP.
    • If the time of day changes from night to day naturally, without you changing it manually, the child will move away from the door she's guarding. Inside the house is a chest containing the Cursed Helm.
  • There is a chest containing some Reinforcing Jam up the watchtower.
  • Getting information out of the boy up the watchtower will unlock some very powerful pieces of equipment for sale at the merchant, including a strong Sword, a strong Dagger, and a helmet that increases the wearer's max SP.
Octopath Traveler 2 - Throne meeting the Emaciated Woman

When you're ready, head all the way to the west and approach the Emaciated Woman on the steps to the🍨 next dungeon♕. After the scene, enter Lostseed Castle.

Dungeon Phase: Lostseed Castle

Octopath Traveler 2 - Lostseed Castle interior

As with many other final dungeons, Lostseed Castle is a bit more complex than the usual dungeons you've encountered up to now. It's quite long, so don't be afraid to head back to Lostseed to heal up while you're hunting for treasure.

Grab the first chest you encounter to the left to get an Empowering Lychee (M), and then head down the staircase. Ignore the stairs to the north for now and head down the staircase to the left to find a chest in a small room that contains a Shadow Soulstone (L). Head back up the stairs to the right and then take the st𒈔airs that you ignored earlier.

Head up the long ladder that you'll see in the background. On the upper level, you'll be able to grab a red chest containing a Ruinous Dagger. This weapon comes with an accuracy debuff but has a slim chance to kill enemies it hits instantly. Head back down to the lower level and take the somewhat-hidden path to the left of the ladder. There's a Sprightly Necklace at the end of this path.

Now, backtrack a little and start taking the staircases up and to the left. Eventually, you'll reach a very grand staircase that leads to the upper level. Before taking this staircase, walk behind it to get a chest containing a Herb Elixir.

Octopath Traveler 2 - Lostseed Castle Upper Levels

On the upper level again, follow the path until you see a chest just at the back near some rubble. It contains an Energizing Pomegranate (L). Take the long linear path to the south of this chest to reach another one, which contains 27,500 leaves.

Octopath Traveler 2 - Lostseed Castle Rickety Boards

Return to the intersection of stairs and take the one heading up to the right. Head further to the right and cross the three sets of planks in front of you to reach another long ladder. This leads to some Revitalizing Jam. Return back down the ladder, across one set of planks, and then head left. When you reach the save point, keep going left until you reach a final chest, which contains a Light Soulstone (M).

Save your game and head to the north past the save point to confront Throné's final boss.

Claude is a very tricky boss, and we mean that literally - he will employ a number of very nasty tricks to slow you down or disrupt your strategies, all while having a respectable damage output. His first trick is to seal your Primary Job abilities, so make sure you have a good range of Secondary Jobs to be able to target his weaknesses.

You'll gain access to your Primary Job skills once you Break Claude once, so having access to some efficient skills is very useful. The Double Axe would be great for whittling down his Break Points with its extra hits with normal attacks, as would Thief's HP Thief and Cleric's Mystic Staff.

Octopath Traveler 2 - Claude using Endurance Test

At this stage of the fight, Claude's most dangerous skill is Endurance Test, which deals a ton of damage to the entire party. If you can, definitely try to reduce Claude's physical attack to stop this tearing through your party.

Octopath Traveler 2 - Claude turned into Pirro

After you've Broken Claude once and reduced his HP a fair amount, he will use an ability that transforms him into a new enemy, the Phantom Snake (Man) - who looks like Pirro, naturally. He's weak to Swords, so having a Warrior around to abuse Aggressive Slash is a good idea. This form of the boss has two annoying attacks - an instant-kill attack and one that shreds through the target's SP. Be ready with the healing items.

It is also possible for Claude to transform into Phantom versions of Mother and Father. If this is the case, you'll find that attacks that hit multiple enemies will be mo🐲re effective. Go for Mother first, as she has the more annoying skillset.

When you beat the Phantom Snake, Claude will return with his HP the same as it was when he left the first time. This time, it should be easier to handle him from the get-go as he won't seal your abilities away.

In this phase of the fight, Claude has the ability to seal away more of your commands. This time, it can be your Items or your Attack command, and he can seal them both at once if he gets the opportunity. If you rely on Items to revive or recover SP especially, it's very important to get rid of this chain ASAP.

Octopath Traveler 2 - Claude after summoning parent and child

The next time you reach one of Claude's HP thresholds, he summons two Fake Snakes, a parent and a child. These enemies aren't too troublesome but focus on getting rid of them as soon as you've removed your current set of chains.

Breaking Claude will become more important than ever toward the end of the fight, as he loves to stack up different chains, has a brutal ultimate attack that hits the entire party, and can use a doom-like attack that places a countdown over a character's head. When the countdown hits zero, the charac🔯ter dies, but the countdown can be erased by Breaking Claude.

All in all, the way to win this fight is to form a team specifically to take down Claude's weaknesses, making good use of Secondary Jobs to do so. Once the battle is over, Throné's chapter will end when you Steal the Key from Claude.

For beating her final chapter, Throné will learn Disguise, which lets you disguise an ally for a few 💫turns.
