There's no mistaking Partitio's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Octopath Traveler 2 story from anybody else's, that's for sure. Tales of vengeance, murder mysteries, catastrophic magics - there's a lot of high-stakes melodrama to be found in other characters' tales, but Partitio's a breath of fresh air. Sure, the potential industrialization of the entire world is no small affair, but it's all so earnest, so heartfelt, that it's nigh-impossible not to cheer for this champion of the people.

Town Phase: Wellgrove, Part One

Partitio Octopath Traveler 2 Wellgrove

Welcome to Wellgrove! If this is your first time here, be sure to spend a few moments making the usual Octopath rounds - send out folks like Castti to learn more about the populace via 'Inquire', have Agnea 'Entice' people into giving them all her stuff. You know, the usual. When you've had your fill of robbing everybody blind, go north to the marketplace for a quick scene, which loops you over to the tavern.

You need to have finished at least two Scent of Commerce quests in order to progress beyond the tavern scene with the kind stranger. He won't arrange a meeting with Lord Alrond unless Partitio can prove his worth through past exploits. You will be asked for proof of two great endeavors; every completed Scent of Commerce quest counts as a viable answer. There are three of those in total.

To really hammer it home, we'll note that this makes the Scent of Commerce quests just as imperative to Partitio's story as any formally numbered chapter.

Make your way to Alrond's Manse at the northern screen of Wellgrove and enjoy the fanciful fellow for all his splendor. Partitio enacts a plan to make Wellgrove positively shine, so it's high time we hit the town and find ourselves three great merchants.

Travel Phase

Partitio Octopath Traveler 2 Winterbloom

Isn't this chapter rad? The market's looking lively, but we need to be stocked with premium product for the grand debut. It's time for Partitio to hit the trail. In Tropu'hapu, the first stop on Partitio's (automated) tour, we need to buy up some Coffee Beans from the Merchant who is already visible on the screen pretty much as soon as you regain control. He's just up the boardwalk a bit from the starting point.

Now, on to Clockbank. We bump into our good pal Floyd here. Yay, Floyd! He handily suggests Pocket Watches for Clockbank's big grab. Go west from Floyd's location a few steps, up the nearby staircase, and west just a tad more to find a Guard willing to sell one.

Lastly, it's Oresrush time. The scene here starts with Partitio chatting with his father, Papp. We won't have to venture far to buy Silverwork, since our seller is Papp himself. Just complete the transaction, and we're good to go. Head to Alrond's Manse, but be sure to save, as we're headed to the chapter boss.

Boss Phase: Thurston, Steam Engine, & Neo Steam Engine

Partitio Octopath Traveler 2 Manners

Time for a fun one. Thurston himself has a mere four Shield Points, and weaknesses include Swords, Axes, Bows, Wind, and Ice. Bear in mind, at a certain point in the fight, Thurston's weaknesses will shift partly, switching to Daggers, Axes, Wind, and Fire. This will crop up a little into the skirmish, so it's good to know ahead of time.

Thurston is accompanied, however, by Steam Engine. You won't be able to hit Thurston himself until you break the Steam Engine's own defenses; weaknesses here are Dagger, Polearm, Lightning, and Fire. Of note, you can absolutely still debuff Thurston, so if you have someone who will slow him down or lower his attack strength while you're busy dealing with his machinery, it can save you a royal headache along the way.

Partitio Octopath Traveler 2 Thurston Battle

Thurston uses Throw Wrench to hit random targets multiple times for several hundred damage. He has a few other attacks, but this is the only one that can deal a significant amount of pain in a short time. You're racing against the clock to do as much to him as possible before he summons Neo Steam Engine with its own set of weaknesses: Daggers, Staves, Wind, and Darkness. Neo Steam Engine has nine Shield Points, though its HP and overall stats are not much separate from Steam Engine's.

In essence, this is a battle against the tanky Steam Engine/Neo Steam Engine and the crafty, weakness-shifting Thurston, who is not much of a threat at all if you have someone like Throné consistently Ensnare him when he's vulnerable to lower his defenses.

Town Phase: Wellgrove, Part Three

Alrond Octopath Traveler 2 Market Wellgrove

Leave it to Partitio to see the good in people - even people like Thurston. Enjoy what happens next, and bear witness as Alrond makes good on his promise. Also, you should totally check out Wellgrove's new shops here at the market. One fellow sells a bunch of records for the gramophone that can't be found elsewhere; the rest all deal in more 'normal' goods, but of a high enough quality to be worth the glance!
