There's an entire character storyline in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Octopath Traveler 2 that's all about the rigors of capitalism. Money matters to the people of the game's world, Solistia, and it certainly matters to players as well. Early on, it may feel like you never have enough leaves - that's what Octopath's currency is called - to afford everything you need.

Early money struggles aside, there are ways to quickly accumulate a boatload of cash in Octopath Traveler 2, and they're hardly complicated. In fact, a quick read of this here article may just be all that's needed for you to walk your way to riches.

Grows On Trees

It fits like a glove, doesn't it? Lo and behold, Partitio plays a vital role in making us rich in Octopath Traveler 2 - because of course he does, right? There are numerous ways in which our Western-themed charitable soul will earn us extra leaves. The first and most obvious by far, would be through the 'Grows on Trees' Support Skill.

Merchants learn 'Grows on Trees' after acquiring four Job Skills. Partitio's your starting Merchant, and even once you've gone and unlocked licenses for other characters to inhabit that role in a secondary capacity, he's always going to be the very best there is. Still, 'Grows on Trees' can be learned by anyone with enough patience to grind the JP toward it. 'Grows on Trees' increases the amount of money earned after battles. It doesn't get much simpler than this.

Hire A Merchant Before Selling Your Merchandise

Here it is. The big one. And probably the number one reason for this guide, seeing as we suspect ꦺplenty of players will pass by the golden opportunity to make it rain some serious leave𝕴s - at first, we sure did.

Partitio's 'Hire' Path Action is invaluable. Truly. You see, there are various archetypes of NPC you'll encounter in towns and abroad; some are warriors, some are homemakers, and so forth. The ones we're looking for are merchants, specifically those that affect the amount of leaves you'll earn when selling items. (The other kind will give you discounts when purchasing, which is ♚still quite nifty, and well worth seeking out in their own right.)

Not every merchant NPC is obviously so, either. Be sure to check everybody out with 'Hire' when you hit a new city to find the fellow(s) with the best impact on your sold wares. Octopath Traveler 2 has tons of items that exist simply to be sold; they'll always be designated as 'fetches an [x] price'. Over time, if you Steal/Allure everybody you see, you will a🔯cquirܫe hundreds upon hundreds of these items.

The difference a hired merchant in your squad will make when mass-selling cannot be overstated. At one point, we sold about 300,000 leaves worth of stuff (it's easier than it sounds when items like Expensive Portrait sell for 15 grand a pop) but the guy we had with us added another 20-25 percent per sale on average, with the chance to go as high as 45.

We wound up with over 450,000 instead. Just routinely selling off all this junk will gradually make you wealthy, but you're missing out on the chance to be filthy rich if you don't do this. When we finished Octopath Traveler 2, we had several million leaves on us, and we know a big part of it is thanks to hired merchants.

Combat Caits And Octopuffs

This one's less reliant on Partitio than the rest. It's more about luck, really, which makes it silly to rely upon indefinitely, but worth the effort to increase the odds of bumping into. Caits and Octopuffs, two special types of enemies in Octopath Traveler 2, both drop huge amounts of experience points and leaves. It's the latter we're presently concerned with, but we sure do love the former as well. Note that Caits and Octopuffs also come in several varieties apiece.

You need to be quick to kill them before they flee the fight, so use Soulstones if you don't feel confident in your ability to hit a highly evasive foe in short order. Cait Powders and Octopuff Pots will increase the frequency at which the foes are encountered, respectively. We found the above Cait Powder after knocking out the cat lady outside her cat... house... hut... thing, in Tropu'hapu, the seaside town on Toto'haha Island.
