One of the highlights of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Octopath Traveler 2's writing is found within the Crossed Paths - short, sweet storylines that feature two of the main characters on their own mini-adventures. These give those characters a chance to interact and show off their vibrant personalities more effectively as part of the larger group.
One of these Crossed Paths stars Throné, the Thief, and Temenos, the Cleric. You'd think these two personalities would clash thanks to Throné's life of crime being somewhat incompatible with the religious trappings of Temenos's occupation, but the reality couldn't be further from the truth.
Part 1: Flamechurch
Upon starting this Crossed Path, Throné reveals something she knows of the Flamechurch Cathedral - a rumor that a treasure is hidden within, called Alpates.
After the cutscene, head to the east of this area and talk to the Forgetful Old Man who is standing at the foot of the stairs near the church. Use Temenos's Path Action to Interrogate the man. He's weak to Staves, so use regular attacks or the Mystic Staff ability to get the fight over with.
After the fight, the man will ask you to Guide him to the Pontiff's chambers. Use Temenos to do this, bringing him all the way to the inside of the Cathedral on the other side of the Pilgrims' Way. The Pontiff's chamber is the one on the far right.
After the short scene, follow the new passage, heading up to the rafters near the cathedral's ceiling, and then cross over to the other side. Use the stairs at the back of the screen to reach a red chest containing an Angel's Ring, and then enter the doorway on the far left up ▨the ladder.
The Angel's Ring is nothing special, really - just an accessory that boosts the wearer's SP and elemental defense. It could be slightly more useful with the Augment Accessories♊ support skill, but there are better options out the🍸re.
A few scenes will follow, in which you get the Cloudy Mirror Fragment. This is the end of the first part of Temenos and Throné's Crossed Path - you'll unlock the second part after beating their individual stories.
Part 2: Conning Creek
Start this part of the Crossed Path by entering Conning Creek (or from the Tavern). After the scenes, head to the Harbor to the north and♌ watch the next scene that plays when you descend the steps here.
Use Throné's Ambush to knock the guard out and then enter the building. Again using Throné's Path Action, Steal the Folded Paper from Alpates's body. It will direct you to the Cavern of the Moon and Sun.
To get to the Cavern of the Moon and Sun, leave Conning Creek - you'll be in Western Conning Creek Coast. Head to the beach that you'll be able to see in the distance, with a chest on the righthand side. Walk directly left from the chest, through an obscured passageway under the bridge you walked over just now. On the other side, you'll find the Cavern's entrance.
Part 2: Cavern Of The Moon And Sun
This short dungeon has a fun gimmick - different sections of the dungeon are completely obscured either in the daytime or the nighttime. You'll have to make clever and constant use of the Change Time function to make your way through the dungeon easily.
First, take the path on the right - the path on the left has nothing for you. Make it nighttime until so that you can spy some stairs on your right that lead down to a chest - it contains 2,400 leaves. Head back up the stairs and cross the bridgౠe in front of you.
Make it daytime, and walk to the left and stop before you climb the stairs you come to. Instead, walk forward, in the direction of the cavern's entrance - you should find some steps leading down and an arch. When you hit the arch, walk right to reach a small area that gets lit up at night and contains a Mighty Belt.
Return to the main path and take the stairs up. At the top, there's a chest on the left with a Light Soulstone (L) inside. Continue on from there to reach the end of the cavern and a puzzle. The clue to this puzzle is 'when day meets night' - the solution is to Change Time twice so that you identify which of the pedestals is lit up in both the nighttime and daytime. When you've done that, a blue shine will appear on the correct pedestal. Examine it.
Through the following scenes, you'll obtain the Cloudy Mirror, which is a Key Item that you'll use heavily in the final chapter leading up to the true ending of the game.
