168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Octopath Traveler 2 starts by giving you a growing party of eight characters in all - hence the 'octopath', you see. Each character comes with their own job, but you can unlock up to three licenses for additional characters to tap into in a secondary role. In addition to the eight basic jobs, there are four more that must be unlocked before they can be utilized.
So, that's 12 in all. A dozen jobs with as many reasons to wield them. Our guide will tell you where to find those four secret jobs, but first, we'll focus on the locations of each of the eight core jobs' guilds, so you can start earning those licenses.
Updated on March 21, 2023 by Quinton O'Connor: Ahoy, travelers! We've added a new section to this guide covering how to gain every additional license for the main jobs.
The Main Octet
Every time you acquire a new character in Octopath Traveler 2, you acquire their job - but only in the sense that that character can use it. If you want more than just Castti to have the Apothecary role, for example, then you must find the Apothecary's Guild. The same holds true if you want more than Ochette for Hunter, more than Hikari for Warrior, and so forth. Here is the location of each of the main eight job classes' guilds.
- Warrior. The Warrior's Guild is in Sai, a town far to the west but still northeast of the Kingdom of Ku. You can't miss it - it's set up as a dojo at the north end of town.
- Apothecary. The Apothecary's Guild is in Conning Creek, a town along the western continent's eastern shore. The building is fairly inconspicuous; it's due south of the inn.
- Merchant. The Merchant's Guild is in the Western Crackridge Wilds. The fastest way there is from Crackridge Harbor Anchorage, on through Southern Crackridge Wilds. Once you reach the Western Crackridge Wilds, consult the guild symbol on your local map.
- Dancer. The Dancer's Guild is in Wellgrove. Look for the nicely-maintained house at the start of the town's northern screen.
- Thief. The Thieves' Guild is in Clockbank. Along the northern portion of town, head down a staircase and up a tunnel beside a house with three wooden crates stacked nearby. One thing you need to bear in mind for this one - the guild master is only present at the room at the end of the tunnel during nighttime hours.
- Scholar. The Scholars' Guild is in the West Winterbloom Snows. To get there, start at Cape Cold and pass through first the Southern Cape Cold Snows and then the Eastern Cape Cold Snows. Locate the bridge to the northern portion of the West Winterbloom Snows; cross it, and you'll find a rather conspicuous large house with the guild.
- Cleric. The Cleric's Guild is in Borderfall. Contrary to its name, it's not a settlement; it's a route. Search the northwestern portion of Borderfall (or just consult the guild symbol).
- Hunter. The Hunter's Guild is on Toto'haha, specifically at the Western Tropu'hapu Traverse. Note that you may need it to be daytime for the guild members to appear at the location.
The Special Quartet
For the big four job classes that aren't tied to a specific traveler, there's a little more legwork involved. Well... mostly. One of them is actually pretty easy; the rest, not so much. We'll start with the simple one.
Inventor
For the Inventor class, all you need to do is exit New Delsta and traverse the local roads a bit until you spot a big house (see above) with a fellow named Arkar inside. The man doesn't exactly go to great lengths to conceal his existence. He'll immediately reward you with the Inventor class just for visiting (and automatically agreeing to be his apprentice).
Armsmaster
Honestly, this one's not so bad, either, though reaching the town of Gravell will take more time as it's surrounded by higher-level danger zones. Once you're in Gravell, switch to nighttime, and have Throné ambush the debt collector standing outside the above house. You could theoretically take care of the guy via other confrontation path actions, but there's nothing simpler, nor sweeter, than a good old-fashioned instant knockout.
The blacksmith inside will teach the Armsmaster license. Note that in order to gain more skills, you must acquire legenﷺdary weapons.
Arcanist
For Arcanist, you must first acquire the boat via Partitio's Scent of Commerce quests in Toto'haru. Next, you need to be powerful enough to defeat the optional boss causing that whirlpool just to the archipelago's northeast. With it out of the way, sail due east to the south of the eastern continent. There's quite a bit of open water here.
Eventually, you will come upon two islands. The first, unhelpfully designated '??? Island', is for the post-game optional mega boss. The second, Lost Isle, has a big maze-like look to it (as can be seen in greater detail in the above screenshot). Here, you're tasked with finding the true path; doing so means walking west over an invisible path rather than simply going through t𓆉he maze. (Though you should totally do that for the various treasures here.)
At the end of the invisible path, you'll find an ancient of some sort who confers the license before disappearing. Spooky.
Conjurer
The last of the optional classes, Conjurer, can be found by scaling a tower of back-to-back optional fights - five total, though you can save and heal between bouts. This tower is located in Ku, Hikari's home city, but since the city is unavailable until Hikari's final chapter (not counting his first chapter, at which point the tower fights cannot be accessed), know that you will need to complete Hikari's story for access to Conjurer.
Where To Find Additional Licenses
We've talked a lot about how to unlock each class, but as you'll discover the moment you speak with a guild leader for any of the eight 'regular' jobs, you can gain multiple instances of each basic class - up to three. This doesn't apply to the special stuff - Inventor, Armsmaster, Arcanist, and Conjurer. Frankly, that'd be overpowered!
Having access to up to three licenses for each of the classes means you could, theoretically, have a party where everybody's a Cleric (in addition to whatever else). Will that need to happen often in Octopath Traveler 2? Probably not, no, but it's nice to know you can grind several characters in a given class simultaneously, seeking out whichever passive skills you're on the hunt for at the time.
The below table covers the second and third licenses for each because the first license always becomes available as soon as you meet with the guild leader. In other words, all you need to know to nab that first one is where to locate each guild, which we've already covered above.
To earn the second and eventually third licenses for each class, report back to the guildmaster after meeting the given condition.
