Castti's memories have come colliding back. WIth them, the terrifying realization that Trousseau is about to bring calamity down upon one of Solistia's most populated cities. How could a healer so committed fall victim to such nihilistic tendency? The purple rain shall soon fall upon Timberain, and it's up to the surviving member of Eir's Apothecaries to deliver true salvation to its people.
Our guide will get you to the villainous instigator in short order, so you can enjoy the opportunity to pummel him into submission. As any good healer would. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Octopath Traveler 2 continues as Castti's story concludes.
Town Phase: Timberain
Is it just us? Or does Trousseau's cruelty know no bounds? Not enough to drop purple rain on a city. He chooses a city whose name ends in 'rain'. What a punk. Anyway, head west once you've arrived in Timberain, and as always, tap into Castti's 'Inquire' for a ton of hidden items if this is your first time in the place.
The first big scene pops at the western side of this initial screen. Afterward, you'll be able to chat with a bunch of folks waiting for the celebration, though nothing's mandatory. What is mandatory is entering the tavern for more scenes. Our man Edmund helps with a nice big assist. A plan's in motion now to get folks to safety.
Despite Edmund's protestations, 'bonemender' is boldly going straight to Timberain Castle. Run north to the 'Town Square' screen.
Dungeon Phase: Timberain Castle
Save at the entrance. Grab the healing item from the chest nearby. Head west and ascend the stairs. Snag the Herb Elixir as you round the stairs and follow the path. Make sure you don't miss the Cleaver of Destruction to the far north of the screen with the several dead soldie💞rs and the elaborate cen🌃tral area.
Now wrap down the eastern staircase. Ascend to the roof - we're about halfway through already. When you're in the big section with a treasure chest at the center gazebo, go to the northeast corner of this area and head down the hidden passageway (as seen 🌌above) for 23,000 leaves. The gazebo chest itself contains a nice Dragon Helm.
Continue down the main paths now, climbing a couple of ladders and fetching the generic healing items. You'll soon reach Trousseau.
Boss Phase: Trousseau
Let's put this soured soul to pasture. The number one thing about this guy is that the purple rain that falls from the beginning of the fight reduces the party's maximum HP over time. This only gets worse as the battle continues. Ergo, while it's generally a good idea to kill enemies in RPGs as quickly as possible, it's imperative that you take drastic🔴 measures to rush Trousseau to his grave before things gꦡet too bad.
To that end, note that his weaknesses include Polearms, Axes, Ice, and Darkness. It will shift, however - at which point it adds Swords and Light. The thing is, this change comes with an overall increase in Trousseau's battle prowess. So, while he'll have more holes, he'll be that much deadlier.
Keep not just your HP, but your BP and SP, as high as possible, especially at this point. Go ham on him with your strongest folks - Hikari for physicals and Osvald for elementals is prime. Trousseau is just as susceptible to plenty of debuffs as any other Octopath obstacle, so Castti should feel free to sling her special concoctions at him all the while.
You'll want a dedicated healer, especially in the second phase. Taking Temenos along in the fourth slot is thus a good call, unless you have trained someone else as Cleric with similarly stalwart stats. Remember that while anyone can take on a secondary class, characters tend to be innately best at their, well, innate job, so unless you've fed someone a great deal of nuts, Temenos is your best bet.
When the fight ends, follow the prompts to create the cure. Octopath Traveler 2 is so good at incorporating its path actions into its plot. What a great sequence here. Enjoy the ending, but know that even with Castti's story largely behind her, the forces of evil who pervaded Trousseau's mind still linger. More on that front come final chapter time!
