Early in Castti's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Octopath Traveler 2 tale, her path splits between Winterbloom and Sai routes. You'll need to do both sides in order to unlock her next chapter, as they both involve piecing together the apothecary's mysterious past in separate ways - equally important, really.
Today, we're covering Castti's Winterbloom route. You'll fight a boss along the way, but the core of this quest is one of emotional tumult as the clock ticks toward certain disaster for the future of this sleepy wintry town. Grab your healing kit and let's mend some hearts, folks.
Town Phase: Winterbloom
Arriving in Winterbloom, the whole town greets Castti quite warmly - an odd moment for our amnesiac, to be sure. Use 'Inquire' on the small crowd to learn a little more, then head to the town's northwestern building, which is quite sizable - you won't miss it - and ascend to the second floor.
Here, we'll meet Rosa. Though in Castti's case, it's a reunion, even if she can't remember. Rosa doesn't have much time left, and her daughter Melia needs to turn 12 before she passes or a rather misguided younger brother of Rosa's will inherit Winterbloom and surely bring ruin. Yikes all-around.
Exit the house, but head through the door to the inside garden attached to its right, where you'll find Melia and can Inquire upon the💦 girl to learn about the herbs here. Snag the one that glows to continue the story.
Now go back to Rosa. Switch to nighttime if needed, since you'll want to use the Soothe path action on her with the newfound elixir. Further scenes transpire. Things are going well! A little too well, according to some. After Castti reads the letter, leave the house, go north to Winterbloom's upper screen, and enter the bar at the top of this Thieves Quarter zone.
Boss Phase: Plukk, Makk, Mikk
Kidnapping Melia to force a healer to quit healing? That's pretty low. It's obvious Greg's in over his head here; the bumbling man seriously tricked himself into believing this is the proper course of action for the future of Winterbloom, and now it's up to Castti to deal with his hired 'help'.
Good thing Octopath Traveler 2 never shies from adding the rest of your party for big fights - guess you didn't see the rest of us enter the Thieves Quarter right alongside Castti, Plukk?
Plukk is your main threat here. She's weak to Sword, Dagger, Axe, and Fire. Mikk and Makk both have far lower HP and deal less damage on their own. Mikk's weaknesses are Bow, Polearm, Ice. Plukk's are Bow, Wind, Ice, and Lightning.
The trick to this fight is to prevent Plukk from being impervious to losing shield points. Plukk cannot be weakened if her underlings are in the battle and unbroken. It's only once you break Mikk and Makk that Plukk is vulnerable to being hit by her weaknesses. In other words, by breaking Mikk and Makk, you're presented with the chance to break Plukk as well, and she's the real threat.
That said, Plukk's speed gets a tremendous boost and the battle's overall difficulty spikes if you fully eliminate both Mikk and Makk. Choose one✱ instead, reducing the number of foes without grantingꦬ Plukk this inadvertent buff.
Town Phase: Winterbloom
We didn't choose this Partitio pic at random! While you're here, bring Partitio along, and get started on his 'Scent of Commerce: Winterbloom' quest if you've not already done so.
Once peace has been restored, your final goal this chapter is to have Castti use Inquire on both Melia and Rosa, which will trigger quite a slew of little surprises. Depending on the order in which you've been doing Castti's route - that is to say, if you've been to Sai yet with her - you'll learn even more or slightly less.
Either way, it's certainly eye-opening. Now, if you've still got Sai ahead of you, head there with Castti when you're ready to continue her quest line; if you don't, then you'll soon be off to the penultimate piece of the puzzle, where massive revelations await.
