• Steal it from Lazare Milvan's House, from his upstairs bedroom.

• Loot it as a rare drop from Dremora in Oblivion Gates.

With the brandy in hand, head back to the Shrine of Sanguine and present the bottle to his statue. He'll greet you and charge you with a task: cast a spell called on the Countess of Lyeawiin.

The Daedric Prince will be pleased with your work and the little prank he had at your expense. For your trouble, he'll grant you the staff and return your gear via the chest across from his statue.

The Sanguine Rose is a staff with ten castings before it needs to be recharged. If the projectile it produces hits a target, it will summon a powerful planar being to attack that target.

There's a catch: if the planar entity defeats its target, it turns on you next, only stopping if killed or its summon timer runs out. Use the🅘 Rose at your own risk.
