Summary
- There are plenty of goofy ways to die in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, but eating an apple that poisons you forever is definitely one of the worst.
- A Reddit user recently ran across this poisoned apple, necked it, and ended up ruining an 87-hour playthrough in the process.
- Unable to remove the poison, and with no earlier save to return to, they decided to embrace the challenge and play through the game permanently ill. I'd rather be a vampire.
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Elder Sc▨♊rolls 4: Oblivion Remastered is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a pretty janky game, and if you're rather unfortunate, that jank can get you killed. I'm sure I'm not the only person who has misjudged the steepness of a hill and en🐼ded up ragdolling all the way down with two broken shins. There are plenty of dumb ways to die, but accidentally scoffing an apple that poisons you forever is definitely up there with the best of them.

Oblivion Remastered's Success Is A Sad Sign Of Where Video Games Are Right Now
As the best selling game of l🔯ast month, Obl♍ivion Remastered proves we are still obsessed with nostalgia.
, as that's what they accidentally did during their playthrough earlier this week. Initially assuming that the poison would go away eventually, they did some Googling to find out they had eaten an infamous poisoned apple that you can obtain🌊 during the Da💃rk Brotherhood questline.
If you weren't aware, this is an issue that has carried over from the original game, as consuming a Dark Brotherhood poison apple inflicts you with poison permanently, damaging you for 10 points per second. I🎶t can be fixed by simply reloading a save, but we haven't gotten to the tragic part of this story just yet.
The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered Fan Loses Their Entire Save Due To A Poison Apple
ViolentBreeze realized they were poisoned, but carried on their journey expecting the poison to wear off. They went through an Oblivion Gate, which then created an autosave, and Oblivion's janky save system stopped them from loading older saves and rewrote the one they had made. They kept trying to reload saves until there were none left in which they weren't poisoned, meaning they're now stuck with a debilitating illness for the entir💯e game.
Since they're playing on Xbox, they can't use console commands to ꧑remove the poison either, so it's essentially a death sentence for their enti🦹re playthrough. However, like a true champion, ViolentBreeze has decided to stick with it and just suffer an endless poisoning for as long as they can.
In an effort to stay alive, they explain they're now piling skill points into Intelligence to access more spells, buff their armor with🔯 fortify health, put absorb health on their weapons and constantly swig healing potions as much as possible. They think it will be "an interesting challenge", and I wish ViolentBreeze nothing but the best with their new illness.
