How To Start Infiltration

After you begin working with Modryn Oreyn and complete the Information Gathering quest, learning more about the Blackwood Company, your next quest will begin: .

With your prison🌸er, Ajum-Kajin, dead, your only choice remaining is to infiltrate the Blackwood Company and find out more about their meteoric rise to prominence.

How To Join The Blackwood Company

Enter Leyawiin via the west gate and head straight for the Blackwood Company in the southwestern courtyard across from the Mages Guild.

Find Jeetum-Ze, an Argonian, who can usually be found on the second floor.

Ask to join the Blackwood company, and go along with his conversation. When you're done, follow him to the training hall downstairs and meet 💜up with three other members to hear about your mission.

Since you're a recruit, you need to prepare by speaking with Jeetum-Ze, who tells you to take a potion called Hist Sap, an Argonian export, wh🌃ich❀ will increase your skills in battle.

He explains that the Blackwood Company has its own Hist tree, but for now, he cuts the conversation short and commands you to drink the Hist Sap and go with your comrades.

Drink the Hist Sap, which doesn't display its effects, to begin your mission.

You may need to wait a few moments for the telep🎃ortation.

Once you do, you're immediately teleported to a location called Water's Edge.

When you arrive, you'll notice that there are tons of Goblins in the area, but they're strangely do🍎cile and not attacking – your first clue that something is wrong with this Hist Sap.

From here, you'll be commanded to cl🌠ear out the houses, and you have a choice: ​​​follow orders and kill everything you find inside the houses. Resist the order or follow it; it's up to you.

You can enter and exit the house without killing anyone, and you'll still progress in the quest, so this part is based on your preference.

Once you're done killing, or you enter and exit a house, you'll suddenly be teleported again, this time into Modryn Oreyn's house in Chorrol.

Returning To Water's Edge

When you're 🎀back in Water's Edge, regardless of your choice inside the houses, you'll find the bodies of several villagers and dead sheep scattered across the village, with a single surviving villager looking over the carnage.

Speak to Marcel Amelion and hear his confused mourning for the dead before he asks you to l🌳eave.

What Rewards Do You Get From Infiltration?

Return to Modryn Oreyn in Chorrol and report your findings to him, completing the Infil𒆙tratio🌞n quest.

Although you won't receive any gold or items for completing this quest, continuing to speak to Oreyn about Hiﷺst will give you access to the next quest: Th🌳e Hist.
