I’ve bought seven 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Nintendo Switch consoles. Th⭕is is not a flex, it’s a cry for help. That’s almost a Switch per year since 2017.
I was 19 when the first Switch was released, living at home with a job and a lot of disposable income, so buying the console at launch wasn’t a huge stretch. In fact, it was the first console I’d ever bought with my own money, and on launch day, so it was particularly special to me. But, oh, it didn’t stop there. It should have, but because I was privileged enough to be irresponsible with my money, it didn’t.
Switch 1
March 3, 2017, was the day I got one of my favourite consoles of all time, and one of my favourite games of all time. Playin🥂g Breath of the Wild on the exciting new hybrid console was incredible on so many levels, and I couldn’t get enough of the little handheld as more and more games became available. New games, ports of beloved games, indies I’d wanted to try; anything and everything, I wanted it on Switch.
Switch 1 Part 2
My original Switch ended up getting a mark on the screen, somehow beneath the screen protector, and it bothered me for a while. Eventually, about a year later, I grabbed a ♋new Switch and passed my original along. Life was good again, and my hyperfixation on a tiny little mark was cured. Hooray.
Switch 1: Better Battery Edition
Well, damn🅰, a year later and Nintendo gives us a Switch model with a better battery life. As someone who was still using their Switch almost every day, this felt like a no-brainer to me, as I’d easily reap the benefits of an extended battery cycle, so I whipped my wallet out.
Switch Lite
There was zero reason for me to get a Swit𒆙ch Lite. I didn’t need one, I was happy with my standard Switch, I had plenty of accessories for it, and I played it plenty in both handheld and docked modes. But, you see, the Switch Lite was cute.
So I got a Switch Lite.
Switch OLED
Another year, another damn Switch. Nintendo announced the OLED model of the hybrid console, and before you knew it, there I was, credit card in hand. Granted, this one was a significant jump again, and much like the improved battery model, I knew I’d get my money’s worth from t🍬his release.
Switch OLED: Gift Edition
Another OLED, why not? Okay, look, I like to give big, surprising g🧔ifts when I’m able to, and I was able to, so this one wasn’t for me. The debt was, but not the console, so maybe it doesn’t count (it does).
If you’re🐷 from my bank and you’re reading this, no you’re not.
Switch 2
Lo and behold, the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Nintendo Switch 2. The funny thing is, ꦉ168澳洲幸运5开奖网:I had no plans to grab one of these just yet. No launch games were calling to me, nor was the improved tech 𝓀such a jump that I felt I needed it right now. I hadn’t even played my Switch OLED properly since Tears of t🧸he Kingdom, so surely I could just skip all the trouble of trying to find stock, and just wait it out.
Well, I accidental🌺ly stumbled across stock on launch day, and oops, out came the credit card again.
