The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Nintendo Switch 2's camera functionality appears to be proving more popular than you might expect, maybe because Nintendo hasn't limited console owners to having to buy one of its officially licensed cameras to use it. It was also only a matter of time until someone tried to get the Game Boy camera working on a Switch 2, and less than two weeks on from its launch, someone has managed to get it workiไng.
Not only have they managed to get it working, but it's working well, and requires a lot less fiddling than I expected. has shared their Switch 2 Game Boy camera journey on YouTube, not only showing that the 27-year-old Nintendo accessory really can work with the Switch 2, but explaining exactly how you can do the same if you hav🌠e all of the tools required to make it happen.

You C🍌an Make Your Switch 2 Play The Greatest Console Start-Up Of All Time
There's a way to make playing 🌄GameCube games onℱ Switch 2 feel even more authentic.
For those unfamiliar with the Game Boy camera, it was a Nintendo accessory that connected to your Game Boy in the same way as a cartridge. That's obviously not very helpful when trying to connect it to a Switch 2, so the first extra bit of kit you're going to need is an Analogue Pocket. Not only that, but you will also need an Analogue Pocket dock.
It Was Only A Matter Of Time Before Someone Tried To Do This
I'm Just Shocked That It Actually Works
Once the Game Boy Camera is in the Analogue Pocket, and the Pocket is in the Pocket dock, you will nee☂d something that would typically let you connect a console, or the Pocket dock, to a laptop, in this case the Switch 2, via a USB-C connection. GameXplain uses the Genki Shadowcast, plugging it into their Pocket dock and then u🎃sing a USB-C cable to connect the dock to their Switch 2.
After demonstrating how exactly they made it happen and walking viewers through how 🍃they can do the same, we get to see the end result, and it's quite something. The Game Boy camera not only has a very low resolution - 128x112p - but also turns whatever it's shooting into a very grainy black and white. Think a worse version of the music video for A-ha's Take On Me, although if you're not old enough to remember the Game Boy camera, you're definitely not old enough to remember A-ha.
Not only does GameXplain proceed to show their face successfully being streamed in that style directly to the Switch 2, but they use it in Game Chat while playing with others, the console recognizes their face so they can remove the background, and it even works fine when showing their face above their raced in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mario Kart World. It pairs particularly well with games from NSO's Game Boy library, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:it has leapfrogged the Piranha Plant for the camera I want most for my Switch 2.
