Where To Pre-Order Nintendo's Switch 2 Edition Games
If you don't already own the four Switch games getting the Switch 2 upgrade treatment, then all of them will be available to buy separately on the Switch 2, both digitally and physically. As noted above, the prices and release dates of the Switch 2 editions vary depending on the games. Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom's Switch 2 editions will be launching on the same day as the console - June 5, 2026 - and will cost $70 and $80, respectively.
The wait for Kirby and Mario Party's enhanced editions will be a little longer. Jamboree's Switch 2 edition will be released on July 24, 2025, and The Forgotten Land will follow it a month later on August 28.
