Nightingale also doesn't put as big an onus on food and shelter as most other survival games. Eating and taking cover will make you stronger in a variety of ways and greatly benefit your journey, but neither is necessary.

Nightingale is a survival game in which you pla⛎y the role of a Realmwalker, traversing the deadly Fae Realms - a gaslamp fantasy world filled with magical creatures and monsters.
The idea of early access is that a studio can get feedback from as many people as possible on potential issues with a game, mechanics that feel unnecessary, or maybe even elements that are missing entirely. It's a common practice to use it for survival games, in particular, since their worlds are so expansive and players are all potentially having unique experiences. Nightingale's early access period begins on February 20, 2024, at which point the current build of the game will be playable for all who have bought it.
There's no indication as to how long Nightingale's early access period will run for, nor what the game will look like once it's over.
