Atlus is working on several unannounced games that will launch on Netflix, according to an insider. One of them is reportedly a new entry in the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Shin Megami Tensei series, which is coming to mobile through the Netf🦂lix app.
There's no indication of what these games will be, or when we can expect from the new Shin Megami Tensei game in particular. This latest news was spotted over on , and comes courtesy of prolific Atlus leaker, Twitter user @MbKKssTBhz5. They don't have much to comment on the matter, simply sharing that Atlus has allegedly entered this deal with Netflix, and that part of this arrangement will involve making a new Shin Megami Tensei available on the platform.
The news is backed up by a journalist in the replies, Felipe Lima, editor-in-chief of Universo Nintendo. Here, he implies he's also heard the news about a new SMT game coming to Netflix, although admits that this is the first he's heard about other Atlus games being made for the platform too, so we'll have to see if that ends up amounting to anything.
The wording here also doesn't make it clear if these games will be Netflix exclusive, or become available elsewhere on mobile. However, given that Netflix games can only be accessed through having a subscription, the streaming service would likely want to hook SMT fans into signing up, rather than seeing the game made available to purchase outright somewhere else.
Atlus hasn't commented on these rumours at the time of writing, nor has it announced any sort of partnership that it's reached with Netflix.
On Netflix's end, it won't be surprising to see it seek these kinds of deals with gaming companies. As we've known for some time, the company is looking into ways to make more money from its service, including price hikes and running ads on shows.
