100Thieves founder and CEO, Matthew 'Nadeshot' Haag, took to Twitter on Tuesday to voice his frustrations regarding 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Call of Duty: Warzone's utilization of skill based matchmaking.
Skill based matchmaking has often been a controversial topic among gamers, both casual and competitive. Fewer voices have more impact on game developers, however, than the streamers and content creators broadcasting gameplay to tens, sometimes hundreds, of thousands of viewers. One of the most influential members of that group, Nadeshot, took to Twitter to plead for a ranked playlist, since the developers of the popular battle royale game, Call of Duty: Warzone, seem to insi𓆉st on including skill based mat♎chmaking in their game.
Whether or not skill based matchmaking is, in fact, included in Warzone has yet to be confirmed or denied, but this would not be the first time developers of this genre have faced backlash about this subject. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fortnite has often faced backlash from both content creators and professionals to remove skill bas🤡ed matchmaking, allowing for a more casual experience.
Nadeshot seems to be making the point that a ranked playlist will not only give players the option to play in a competitive environment if they want, but will also enable them to have a casual experience if they desire that instead. It can be extremely difficult to strike a healthy balance of competitive and casual. Those with strong opinions on the matter should try to look at this situation from both sides. Some players simply do not have much time to practice and get better, therefore they do not want to placed into lobbies with players who play and practice Warzone for 10 hours per day as that would just simply not be fair. To retain those players and also maintain a healthy number of players on the game, skill based matchmaking allows the casuals to play against others with a similar skill lev💜el, so they do not get oblite♛rated by enemies that far outrank their abilities. Popular streamer, Michael 'Shroud' Grzesiek did not agree with Nadeshot, however, responding that "ranked also doesn't work."
Demanding that developers completely remove skill based matchmaking is unlikely to make a difference at this point in the evolution of multiplayer games. However, Nadeshot offers a valid solution that gives gamers the choice whether to compete at a high level with the best players, or to casually play and not have to try so hard every second of every game. It will be interesting to see if Activision releases any information confirming whether or not Warzone has sඣkill based matchmaking, or whether the🎐y will look to add any sort of ranked mode.
