You'll need to do a little crime yourself, and some detective work with them if you want to figure out what's going on.
How To Unlock Where's Mi-an
Where's Mi-an is unlocked on the same day that Logan breaks the Water Tower, and that generally occurs around one in-game week after you complete In 🔯Trusses We Trust and repair the railway bridge and Recipe For Fun.
After watching the cutscene with Logan and speaking with everyone, head to the eastern side of town near Amirah's home, and you'll see Mi-an and Elsie speaking in one of the alleyways.
Speak with them, and you'll learn Elsie is convinced of Logan's innocence, and that both she and Mi-an want to investigate Logan's behavior.
Answering that "a total wildcard" will give you an extra five relationship points with them.
Agree to help them out, and you'll get a brief cutscene of the three of you breaking into Logan's house via the window.
How To Investigate Logan's House
Once you're inside his house, Elsie and Mi-an will explore Logan's bedroom, and find a torn-up picture, and this is where you'll begin your investigation. You'll need to closely examine items in Logan's room and around his house to find clues to why he's changed so much.
There are six clues to zoom in on in the torn-up photo for you to find:
- Logan's mother, the white-haired woman on the left side of the photo.
- Logan's father, the tall man on the right side of the photo.
- Young Owen, the small boy in the bottom right corner of the photo.
- Owen's father, the man standing behind the boy on the right side of the photo.
- The tear in the middle of the photo.
- And the initials and date on the back side of the photo.
Speak with Elsie and Mi-an again, and then you'll be able to explore Logan's room yourself. Interact with his desk, and you'll have another four clues to find:
- The paper with multicolored tabs and a brown folder beneath it at the bottom of the desk.
- The paper with a red stamp on it on the left side of the desk.
- And the closed brown book with a blue tab in the middle of the desk. Interact with it again to open it, and the last two clues are on each of the two pages it opens on.
Speak to Elsie and Mi-an again to find out that you might get some answers from Fang.
Giving the answer "Logan's Pa" will give you another three relationship points with them.
Interact with the drawing on the wall next to Logan's bed, and you'll get two more clues to find:
- The drawing of two boys and Jasmine in the middle of the drawing.
- And the small purple flower in the upper left corner of the drawing.
It turns out this drawing was drawn by Jasmine herself, and suggests that Logan was well-liked by the people in Sandrock in the past. Answering "Logan was well liked" will give you three more relationship points with them.

Investigating Haru's Room
Leave Logan's room, and you'll have two photographs on the wall you can interact with for additional lore, then go into the room at the end of the hall. Interact with the science equipment, and you'll have another three clues to find:
- The tray with a bar of soap, a pink tube, and a blue bottle on the left side of the desk.
- The small white notebook on the right side of the desk.
- And the white bottle with the yellow and green symbol on the upper right side of the desk.
Elsie and Mi-an come in again, and realize there's a connection between Logan, the mysterious Haru, and Arvio selling some of the items on the desk.
Answering Haru will provide you with another three relationship points with them.
Next, interact with the workbench against the wall, and this table has four clues for you to find on it:
- The navy blue notebook on the left side of the workbench.
- The long beige fuse in the middle of the workbench.
- The black jar with a twine-wrapped top in the middle of the workbench.
- And the small black bomb in the middle of the workbench.
With all the new information, you'll realize that both Logan and Haru have a lot of scientific knowledge, and that Pen might know who or where Logan's been getting his bombs from.
Answering Pen also gives you another three relationship points with them.

Investigating The Bottom Floor
Leave Haru's room, go down the stairs on the bottom floor, and over to the map on the long brown table on the right wall and interact with it. This time, you'll have five clues to find:
- The green circle over the Saloon near the bottom of the map.
- The red circle over the Church of Light in the top middle of the map.
- The large red X drawn over most of the map.
- The green dotted pathway drawn over most of the map.
- And the circled green exclamation point in the upper right of the map.
With this map, you'll learn a key part of Logan's personality, his impulsiveness.
Also, answering impulsiveness nets you another three relationship points as well.
This clue will direct you towards talking to the pastors of the Church and asking them some questions.
Head into the room on the left wall, and interact with the weapon rack inside for the last set of four clues for you to find:
- The rusted helmet on the left side of the top shelf of the rack.
- The Stone Greatsword in the middle of the bottom shelf of the rack.
- The pair of brown boots on the right side of the bottom shelf of the rack.
- And the empty shelf on the middle right side of the bottom shelf on the rack.
Speak with Elsie and Mi-an one last time, and you'll find out that Hugo forged all their weaponry, and it might be a good idea to speak with him as well.
With everything investigated, exit through the window in Logan's bedroom, and you'll end up running into Unsuur.
Answer that you were trying to fix the window to ensure he isn't suspicious, and he'll leave the three of you alone. Speak with them one more time, and you'll all agree to wait for Mi-an to develop the photographs.
