My Time At Sa𓆉ndrock: Where To Find Sharpening Stones
The 💎only thing b🍸etter than a sharp wit is sharp tools.
In the wake of a particularly strong sandstorm, the Blue Moon Saloon's stage gets wrecked, and it's up both Mi-an and you to help fix it up. In this guide, we'll not only show you how to start The Show Must Go On, but we'll also tell you everything you need to know to build the stage pieces and help Owen.
How To Unlock The Show Must Go On
After completing the tutorial missions, acquiring your workshop, and completing Picking Up The Slack, you’ll experience your first sandstorm three days later.
Sandstorms not only damage you if you aren’t properly protected by equipment like the Sand Hat, but they bring with it an increase in sand, which you'll have to clean off your machines in order to keep them running.
Days with sandstorms are a perfect time to go digging in ruins where the storm can't cause visibility issues.
The day after this sandstorm, you’ll get a cutscene of the damage and discover that the sandstorm has destroyed the stage. Mi-an will greet you outside your home, and tell you that Matilda has asked you both to come to the stage.
Head over to the Blue Moon and speak to Matilda. She'll ask both you and Mi-an to help rebuild the stage. You'll have a choice of which part you want to build: the Stage Support or the Stage Backdrop. Mi-an will handle building the piece you didn't pick.
Your design choice does not affect your rewards, only the part you'll focus on building, and you'll also receive both recipes as part of the quest.
Once you've picked the piece you want to build, you'll need to salvage the stage, and doing so will give you a few of the materials you'll need for either piece.
Salvaging the stage requires a Bronze Pickhammer or better, which can be crafted at a Workbench from Bronze Ingots, Wood Sticks, a Sharpening Stone, and Cop☂per Screws.

Locate and speak to Matilda, and she'll thank you for your part in repairing the stage. In return, you'll receive several rewards: 800 Gols, 1,000 Experience Points, 25 Workshop Reputation, a Desert Defender Shirt, and 10 Relationship Points with both Matilda🌳 and Mi-an.
