The Mysterious Man is a stranger in town to you until the end of your first month. He only appears for a few days at a time, despi✃te owning property, and sells important items like the 💞Large Storage container.
He himself is a mystery, never revealing his identity and keeping himself distant from the other residents. Your interactions with him are purely transactional, and often profitable.
How To Make Drool For Joy Noodles
When you meet the Mysterious Man on the 20th of the month, he'll have a proposition for you: make him the best bowl of noodles so that he can profit off the recipe. You'll get a cut, of course, if you work for it. You can even negotiate a larger cut for yourself if you ask.
You'll need to have researched the Cooking Station,🍎 though the quest can begin before you build on for yourself.
There is a time limit of three days, which is gracious considering he's only ever in town for two days at a time. You'll want to get to work quickly, and thankfully the ingredients aren't too hard to find. To make the noodles, you'll need:

- Alfalfa

You'll get ten of the Seesai Pepper Blend from the Mysterious Man when you accept the quest. Put everything together at a cooking station in the cooking pot, then return to the Mysterious Man.

After creating the recipe as instructed, the Mysterious Man will give you tips on how to sell it. He plans on traveling across the Free Cities to make his fortune and tasks you with selling the recipe in town.
You'll find that a couple of days after you give the recipe to the Mysterious Man, Owen is in need of help.
He's looking for a recipe that will spice things up at the Blue Moon Saloon, and yours could do just the trick. You'll want to follow the Mysterious Man's advice to make a strong sales pitch: don't come on too strong and let them know you have other options.
When Owen seems like he's on the fence, tell him that Mabel offered you 200 Gols already, and he'll give you double for the recipe.
You'll get a letter in the mail later with additional Gols from the Mysterious Man a few days later. The amount depends on if you took the 30 percent cut or the 50 percent cut.
What Happens If You Don't Sell The Recipe To Owen?
If you don't sell the noodles to Owen, you'll still get the same reward, although it will be because the Mysterious Man made a deal with him. The noodles will be available at the Blue Moon Saloon for purchase.
