𓆉The studio also helmed the Disney Classic Games Collection anᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚd Blizzard Arcade Collection.
"At Digital Eclipse, we specialise in restoring historic games for modern consoles, giving legendary classics the respect they deserve," editorial director Chris Kohler said in . "As you might imagine, we get a lot of requests from fans, and for many years now, the overwhelming number-one request has been… 'MORTAL KOMBAAAAAAAAAT!'"
We don't have a release date yet, but the collection (sorry, kollection) will be available sometime later this year.
Every Game Included In The Legacy Kollection
Not only will the bundle include Mortal Kombat 1-4, but also the arcade and handheld games. The f🎶ull list so far is as follows:

It's already an extensive line-up, but Digital Eclipse has a few more surprises up its sleeve. And it's not just talking about games. It also has a documentary pl😼anned that will detail the development of the legendary fighting series that stirred up a violent video game panic in the '90s when it first splattered onto arcade machines.
"Earlier this year, Digital Eclipse 𒀰traveled to NetherRealm Studios to interview Mortal Kombat co-creators Ed Boon and John Tobias alongside literally dozens of other developers, actors, industry luminaries, fans, and Mortal Kombat experts," Kohler said. "We're also doing a deep dive into the history of Mortal Koꩲmbat to find design documents, early prototype materials, motion-capture sessions, concept art, and much more, some never before seen."
Legacy Kolle๊ction will launch sometime later this year, and Digital Eclipse plans to unveil even more in the coming months.
