Mortal Kombat 2 hits theater🐭s later this year and will build upon the modern-day attempt to turn the fighting game franchise into a fighting movie franchise. It'll do that 💜by adding even more iconic characters from the games, the most notable of which will be Johnny Cage, who now has his very own IMDb profile.
Okay, that's not technically true, as Johnny Cage isn't technically real. However, Warner Bros. has made a mock-up of the fictional fighting actor's IMDb profile that goes into a tremendous amount of detail about t♏he MK character's movie career. Cage has played the lead in Caged Fury, Cool Hand Cage, and The Gist of my Fist, all of which have a score of 6.9 along with everything else he's starred in. How convenient.

Warner Bros. has put together a fake IMDb page for Johnny Cage
Lots of time to catch up on his fake movies before Mortal Kombat 2
C🐲age's profile leans heavily into the character's penchant for sunglasses, which he wears 24/7, even when trying to kill his opponents in combat (sorry, Kombat). Not only is Cage wearing sunglasses in the Uncaged Fury poster used for his profile pic, but the excerpt about him lists "sunglasses enthusiast" among his most notable accolades. There's even a fake sunglasses ad off to the right, trying to sell cry-resistant "sunglasses for men".
If you're unfamiliar with the Cage character and you'd like to know more about him ahead of his cinematic re-debut later this year, there's even an෴ FAQ section, though it's not very helpful. Instead of his age, the page reads "Cage is just a number", and it helpfully points you to "your mum" when asked who Cage is dating.
Unfortuna💖tely, the profile only seems to exist in screenshot form and isn't actually live on the IMDb 💫site.
Cage will be played by Karl Urban (The Boys, The Lord of the Rings) in Mortal Kombat 2. We've not seen much of him so far, so it's too early to tell just how well he'll encapsulate the MK OG, but he certainly looks the part. Other characters that weren't in the first movie that will be joining Cage in the sequel include Quan Chi, Kitana, and Jade, who will be played by Tati Gabrielle, the same actor playing lead character Jordan in Naughty Dog's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.
While anticipation for the sequel is high, Mortal Kombat fans are fearful that Cole 🃏Young is going to be killed off during its opening scenes.🅠 Ed Boon, the director of the Mortal Kombat games, has quietly attempted to dispel those rumors by hyping up Lewis Tan's performance as Young, having recently watched Mortal Kombat 2 for the first time.
