Many of them are good, but these are the best character endings you can unlock by comple🎀ting Klassic Towers.
This article contains spoilers for Mortal Kombat 1's story mode. It is recommended that you complete it first before reading further.
10 Sindel
It's unfortunate that in almost every Mortal Kombat story - including Liu Kang's supposedly curated timeline - Sindel can't seem to make it out alive. Despite her kind heart and compassion for her daughters, the Empress of Outworld is eventually killed by the evil version of herself from the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath campaign.
As she dies surrounded by her family, her soul is absorbed by Ermac, who also has her husband's soul within him. Together, Sindel and Jarrod fight the thousands of other souls residing inside Ermac to gain control of the body, and they happily embrace death to rule over Ermac, like they once ruled over Outworld.
9 Nitara
Once Shang Tsung and Quan Chi's plans to eviscerate Lui Kang's timeline failed, Nitara was forced to return to her realm - Vaeternus - empty-handed. After vouching for the evil plan and promising to return with food for her people, she is forced to think of an alternate way to keep them fed and prevent herself from being banished.
Instead of conquering a realm like she originally planned, Nitara pivots and decides that it would be easier to capture thousands of people and make them breed for an infinite supply of food for Vaeternus. It's one of the darker endings in Mortal Kombat 1 (especially for the humans she captures) but is also a pleasantly sick reminder of how grim this universe can be.
8 Scorpion
After Sub-Zero's betrayal during the story mode, Scorpion is forced to rebuild an army to defend himself and his followers. They eventually run to Japan to seek out the aid of Harumi Shirai, an old friend of Scorpion's who had become the leader of her clan.
The two eventually get married and merge their two clans to form the Shirai Ryu, which is dedicated to protecting Earthrealm at all costs. Scorpion is often portrayed as an antagonist, so it's great seeing this version of the character discover love and purpose while remaining true to his values.
7 Kitana
Following Sindel's passing, Mileena is chosen to become the next Empress of Outworld, as General Shao's betrayal has left the realm uncertain about its defenses. Kitana is appointed as the new leader of the military, and she happily embraces the new role to protect her family and people, but the soldiers under her have a hard time taking instructions from someone they see as royalty.
It doesn't take long for Kitana to prove herself as more than a princess as she leads the army from location to location, eliminating any remnants of General Shao and his rebellion. With the respect and loyalty of the Outworld's military behind her, Kitana has once again proven herself to be an excellent leader, no matter what timeline she is in.
6 𒊎 ꧙ Johnny Cage
Throughout the story mode, Johnny Cage is confused as to why he was picked to be trained alongside Kenshi, Kung Lau, and Raiden. Aside from being an actor, he doesn't feel like he has a place beside them as protectors of Earthrealm, but Liu Kang always had a plan for Cage - to use his Hollywood connections to inform the world about Mortal Kombat.
After returning from the battle against Shang Tsung, Cage builds a cinematic universe to reveal to humanity that powerful gods and ancient evils quietly threaten them. Using movies, comics, and even video games, Jo🍬hnny Cage essentially becomes a Kevin Feige-type creator tasked with overseeing and connecting a multimedia series.
5 💃 Kenshi Takahashi
After losing his vision and gaining possession of the sword Sento, Kenshi teams up with Jackson Briggs to free his people from the grasp of the Yakuza, and once they finish the job, Shang Tsung reappears to try and steal Sento. Briggs had seen Johnny Cage's movies but couldn't believe stuff like sorcerers could be real.
Kenshi explains everything he knows to Briggs and the two permanently team up to form the Outworld Investigation Agency, an association tasked with defending Earthrealm from outside threats. It's a fantastic team-up that feels worthy of a video game spin-off.
4 Mileena
Mileena must succeed Sindel as the Empress of Outworld despite her 168澳洲幸ꦯ运5开奖网:consistent confrontations with her Tarkat disease, and one of her first decisions was to meet with Baraka and learn more about his people and their colony. Taken aback by the living conditions, Mileena takes drastic measures to change the public's opinion of Tarkatans and restore their reputation.
After returning to the kingdom, Mileena reveals to everyone that she also has Tarkat and pleas to her people to remove their previous biases. The scandal rocks Outworld, but wit🦹h the help of her remaining family and friends, Mileena comes out of the debacle a stronger Empress than before and more compassionate than other iterations, which is incredibly refreshing.
3 Ashrah
Ashrah might not be as well-known or popular as other characters like Joh🌊nny Cage or Liu Kang, but her return in Mortal Kombat 1 is a friendly reminder of how many excellent fighters the series has introduced over the years. She befriends Liu Kang during the story mode and is eventually invited to join him in the fight to protect Earthrealm.
As much as Ashrah enjoyed being a part of the Shaolin initiative, she felt a ton of regret for leaving her Shadow Sister - Sareena - under Quan Chi's spell. Ashrah infiltrates Quan Chi's lair and eventually saves Sareena from his grasp, reuniting to form the Order of Light and fighting together to save Earthrealm from any more danger.
2 ඣ Shang Tsung 🅰
Despite joining the heroes to fight Titan Shang Tsung and defend the current timeline, the former Shang Tsung is sent to prison for ꧅his role in the rebellion and for potentially being a threat down the road. Of course, he eventually escapes, but his journey is plagued by disaster as his ship is wrecked by a storm, leaving him to drown in the ocean.
To his surprise, Shang Tsung wakes up on a mysterious island surrounded by a strange energy, and after exploring for a bit, he finds a well of souls that he begins to harness to regain his strength and awaken new powers. This is likely the island w൩here Shang Tsung will eventuallyಞ host Mortal Kombat tournaments, which cꦅou🃏ld be an excellent hint at what could come next.
1 Reptile
Reptile is another character that feels completely🐼 new in Mortal Kombat 1 compared to his previous iterations. Usually a villain, he is now a good guy stuck in a bad situation, as Shang Tsung has taken his 🦹family hostage and threatened them, making him do regrettable things like capture our heroes and hold them as prisoners.
Once Reptile discovers his parents were killed a long time ago, he sides with the heroes to help them defeat Shang Tsung, and Mileena then offers to make him an ambassador for the Zaterrans. He returns to his people as a leader and uncovers a dark secret that involves a long history of murdering shapeshifting Zaterran, which is a mostly positive ending for one of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:game's most rootable characters, and it wജill be interesting to see what happens to him next.
