Wilds Has Less Large Monsters At Launch Than World And Especially Rise
At launch, Monster🍃 Hunter Wilds has a total of 29 large monsters to hunt, which includes 20 brand-new creatures and nine that are returning from previous games. Although the number of new monsters is impressive considering how much effort Capcom has put i🌱nto other parts of the game, that does place it a little behind the la♈st two entries.
For comparison, , which is nearly 10 more than Wilds. On the other hand, Rise had a whopping 46 large m🎐onsters when it launched, 17 more 🍸than the newest entry in the series.
World's big Iceborne expansion brought that number up to 71, while Sunbreak𓆉's additions meant that Rise ended on 78 large monsters. That does make Wilds feel a little small, but it's just getting started.
While that🏅 might seem like cause for panic, it's worth noting that we already know that . Wilds also has much more detailed monsters in terms of both gameplay and design, so it does make sense that th🅠e number is a little less than previous games.
