11 Roar
Roar is a riding action that causes your monstie to roar loudly and intimidate any nearby weaker monsters, which then stops them from moving for a short time. However, not all monsters are susceptible to roar and overall it's just not that useful in general.
Pukei-Pukeis from Hokolo Island are the first type of monstie you can get that have this ability, but there are far better riding skills to have in you൩r party setup. We recommend keeping monsties with more useful skills on hand.
10 Lava Dive
Lava Dive is one of the last riding actions you'll be able to access, as the firey monsties capable of doing this are all 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:native to Terga, the last area in the game. However, this is also the only area that requires this skill, so you're not missing out on much.
In a similar fashion to Swim, Lava Dive allows you to navigate lava streams to reach other areas. Monsties like Urgaan and Gravios have this riding action, but due to its limited use in the game, it's not the most important one to have in your party.
9 Dash
Monsties that have the Dash riding action allow you a short burst of speed to move more quickly across the land. While it's always nice to be able to travel a little faster, none of the maps are that large that traveling is a chore, especially with the abundant supply of catavan fast travel points.
You can grab a monstie with this skill as early as Hokolo Island as Bulldrome has it. Of course, there aꦺre far better monsties later on in the game that also have it if you want a monstie better suited for battle that can also Dash.
8 Ro𝓡ck Breaker/ Mega Breaker
Rock Breaker and Mega Breaker are two riding actions that fall under the same category; monsties that have either of these skills are able to break large rocks✅. This is particularly useful as it can open up new paths or areas, leading to treasure chests, Everdens, and one of the Royal Monsters in Lamure is also hidden behind breakable rocks.
You can obtain a monstie with this skill in Hokolo Island as Yian Kut-Ku has it, and there's at least one rock on the island hiding some treasure behind it for you to test it out.
7 Swim
Swim is a riding action that allows you 🍒to travel across deep water and reach islands that hold treasure chests or Everdens, as well as just allowing for easier traversal of the map as you can just shortcut through water.
Though Hokolo Island has a small little island with a treasure chest on it, you won't be able to get a monstie with Swim until you have visited Alcala. Royal Ludroth is the first monstie you will encounter that has this ability.
6 Search
The Search riding action encompasses a variety of different search skills; some monsties can search for nests, while others can search for monsters, or different kinds of gatherable items. Once you 💃use the search function, the items or monsters will display on the map so you can easily locate them.
Depending on your monstie and what it can search for, this riding action is particularly useful when you are trying to farm a particular type of item. Yian Kut-Ku is the first monstie you'll encounter with a search skill, as it has the Monster Search ability. Some of the search skills are obviously more valuable than others though.
5 �♎�Ground Dive
Whenever you spot a small mound of earth, it means you can use a monstie with Ground Dive to enter the ground and re-appear somewhere else. Usually, the new area you will be taken to includes a treasure chest, some decent g💯athering spots, or even an Everden for you to explore.
Alcala is the first area where you can get a monstie as Bas𒁏arioshas it, then both Barroth and Jade Barroth in the next area (Loloska) are also capable of utilizing Ground Dive.
4 Ivy Climb
You'll likely notice the overgrown ivy patches leading to upper ledges while in Hokolo, though regrettably, you won't be able to make use of them until later as you won't be able to get a monstie with this riding action until you reach Loloska at the earliest.
The first monstie you'll encounter with this riding action will likely be Congalala, Kecha Wacha, or Nerscylla. This particular skill is great at reaching secret areas that usually yield a treasure chest or an 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:unexplored Everden.
3 Jump
Jump is the first riding action that you will be introduced to as it is used as part of the tutorial to these special monstie skills. You'll automatically have Ranmar the Velocidrome with this skill from Hokolo Island, but it's still useful in other areas too. You know when you can use Jump as there will be a little rock with monster footprints on it.
Jump allows you to reach other areas to gather mater🔯ials or loot treasure chests, but quite often it allows you to take a shortcut through a monster den by jumping across an area, rather than having to run around the paths.
2 Stealth
Stealth might not seem like one of the most useful riding actions given that it doesn't open up new areas or alert you to the presence of certain items, but it's definitely worth having a monstie like Nargacuga in your party so you have this skill on hand.
Stealth will allow you to avoid battles with monsters in the field or in dens, making it super easy to farm for items, complete quests, or 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:snatch eggs without having to deal with the drama of battle.
