Removing a friend in Monopoly Go! is not the most intuitive process, though it is actually very straightforward once you figure it out. It only takes a few quick taps to remove anyone you want from your friend list.
Follow these steps to unfriend someone in Monopoly Go!:
- Click the Friends tab in the bottom right corner of the screen. The Friends icon looks like a handshake.
- Switch to the Leaderboard tab, which is the third tab. The Leaderboard automatically opens in the Friends tab, the other two being Global and Local from left to right.
- Tap the friend you want to remove one time; this will cause a small pop-up bubble to show up right next to their name. There will be a red button inside the bubble with the word "remove" in all caps.
- Tap that red button, and you will get a prompt asking you if you're sure you want to remove your friend.
- Confirm by pressing "remove" once again. (Note that this time, it will not be a red button, but instead a bright green one.)
