You might have robbed your friends' banks a handful of times or crushed their precious landmarks just as often, but you can extend a little olive branch by sending them stars and stickers. Nothing says sorry quite like a little picture of a cute dog, or helping someone open a safe loaded with treasure. Plus, you might feel less guilty when you rob them again next time.
What Are Stars?
Stars are a game mechanic that allows you to claim rewards in Monopoly GO! You obtain stars every time you claim duplicate sticker rewards from different game tasks and events.
This mechanic is a part of the Stickers for Rewards feature, in which you can exchange your accumulated stars for safes of different rarities containing dice rolls, cash, and more stickers.
Each sticker has a set denomination between one and five stars. When you get a duplicate sticker, it gets automatically exchanged for the number of stars in that denomination. For examplꦑe. a duplicate five-star sticker grants you five stars in Stickers for Rewards, and so on.
How To Send Stars
Sending stars requires that you send stickers to friends rather than the stars themselves. However, because stars are tied to duplicate stickers, it is necessary that your friend also has at least one copy of the sticker you want to send for it to get exchanged in🔯to stars. Otherwise, 🐈they will merely get the sticker and no stars whatsoever.
Sending stickers does not diminish your total number of stars, so you can share the wealth to your heart's content at no cost to you!
W𒁃ith that in mind, follow these quick steps to send your dup♒licate stickers to a friend:
- Tap on the album icon at the bottom of the screen. It is on the right side of the GO button.
- Select any of the sticker collections where you might have duplicate stickers.
- Tap on the duplicate sticker, which you can identify by a little tag with a plus sign and the number of duplicates you have.
- You will be taken to a screen where you see a close up of the sticker, and a button reading "Send to Friend" in a bar at the bottom. Tap that.
- Select a friend from your list and press continue.
- A pop-up asking you if you're sure you want to send the sticker will show up. You just need to tap "Send" at the bottom to confirm.
- You're done! Your friend will receive the sticker next time they open the game.
You can only send up to five duplicate stickers a day.
