The Horde of the Hunt is a piglin army in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Minecraft Legends that relies on overwhelming numbers and fast movement. Their bases aren't as well-defended as the other Hordes, but that doesn't mean they're easy to bring down! When the Horde of the Hunt attacks a Village, you know you're in for a rough night.
This guide has all the strategies and information you'll need to send the Hunt packing - including their leader, the fearsome Beast! The Overworld will be a much safer place without this Horde roaming the land.
Horde Of The Hunt Piglins
In addition to the usual assortment of enemies, the Horde of the Hunt has two unique foes that you'll have to contend with whenever you fight them.
Warboars are warthogs the size of a horse. They like to attack in groups, and they can take a hit. Their attacks are slow, so if you're daring you can distract them while your Plank Golems pelt them with arrows; alternately, you can send in Zombies or Cobblestone Golems to take hits from these pugnacious pigs.
Pigmadillos are a major threat. They curl up into a ball and roll toward their targets, dealing heavy damage to anything they hit. On top of that, they take a lot of damage to bring down. Send Cobblestone or Grindstone Golems to get in their way - Pigmadillos will stop after rolling over a few targets, so sacrificing a few mobs to halt the monster's attack is a price worth paying. These beasts are best taken down from afar with Skeletons or towers.
How To Destroy A Horde Of The Hunt Portal
The Horde of the Hunt doesn't build walls around their bases, and they don't have many towers compared to the other Hordes. What they do have, however, are piglins - and lots of them. As soon as the Horde notices you're in their base, they'll send their entire army to deal with you!
You certainly don't want to get stuck in a fight with that many piglins - luckily, you don't have to! When you're ready to attack one of the Hunt's Portals, start by building Spawners at different locations around the outside. The idea here is to recall your mobs from the nearest Spawner whenever you need.
Once your preparations are complete, send six to eight Cobblestone Golems to destroy a building. Any building will do, but Barr𝓀acks are always a good target since that will be one less spawn point for the piglins.
While your Cobblestone Golems are doing their job, take the rest of your army to a different spawner, ideally as far from the Cobblestone Golems' target as possible. Watch for the piglins to react to their building being destroyed; when they march toward the Cobblestone Golems, recall them to your current location.
While the piglins are distracted on the other side of the base, rush the Portal with everything you have. Command your army to attack the portal, then return to the spawners alone. When the Horde returns to defend the portal, recall your army and repeat the process. You should beཧ able to bring down the portal with relatively few losses this way!
How To Defeat The Beast
After the last Portal belonging to the Horde of the Hunt is destroyed, the Beast will come to the Overworld leading an enormous army. The following night, and every night thereafter until he's defeated, the Beast will attack a Village.
Like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:other piglin invasions, you can always see which Village the Beast plans to attack. Go there as early as possible and spend the entire day building up defenses. It also helps to bring Zombies and Skeletons from their Homesteads t𒁃o help in the upcoming battle.
The most important way to prepare for the Beast's attack is to surround the Fountain with as many towers as you can fit, along with Carpenter Huts toꦜ keep them repaired.
When night falls, rely on your walls to keep the piglins out and focus on fighting the Beast. Mounted on a giant warboar, the Beast can crash through walls as though they weren't there. The Beast always charges straight for the Fountain; keep them distracted with Zombies while your towers, Skeletons, and Plank Golems shoot from all sides. Be sure to have a few Mossy Gol🍬ems around for healing!
💎The Beast is fast enough to easily avoid Creepers, so spend your Coal on Scatter Towers instead.
The battle ends when the Beast is defeated or the Fountain is destroyed. If the latter happens, simply retake the Village and try again. The Beast doesn't heal between attacks, so you'll eventually be able to beat them just by fighting night after night.
Once the Beast is dead, the Horde of the Hunt will be banished back to the Nether - there might still be some piglin squads roaming around, but they'll never build another Base or attack another Village.
