Enchanting your equipment in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Minecraft is something you'll want to start doing as early as possible. The added benefits of Enchantments like Unbreaking, Silk Touch, and Mending, among others, can drastically improve your experience in a new world.
If you ever decide to work underwater, there are two Enchantments you'll definitely want to have: Depth Strider and Respiration. When combined, these Enchantments make the pain of building underwater much more manageable. Below, we'll take a look at how to get the Depth Strider and Respiration Enchantments, as well as what they do.
How To Get The Depth Strider Enchantment
The Depth Strider Enchantment is a relatively rare Enchantment that can be applied to boots. This Enchantment only appears on boots; you won't be able to get it on any other pieces of equipment. Depth Strider has a maximum Enchantment level of three.
You can get Depth Strider♒ by either Enchanting your boots directly at an Enchanting Table, or by using an En🐲chanted Book with the Depth Strider Enchantment at an anvil.
It's important to note that Depth Strider and Frost Walker can't be applied at the same time, so if you already have Frost Walker on your boots, you'll never see Depth Strider when Enchanting them. Be sure to either remove Frost Walker or try on a different pair of boots.
Depth Strider Effects
Depth Strider increases your movement speed while underwater. At level three, you'll move as fast underwater as you can when walking on land. Additionally, with Depth Strider, you'll be pushed more slowly by flowing water.
How To Get The Respiration Enchantment
Respiration is a helmet-only Enchantment that increases your ability to stay underwater. To get it, you'll need to Enchant your helmet at an Enchanting Table. The more bookshelves surrou𓂃ndiꦕng your Enchanting Table, the better.
As Respiration has no conflicting Enchantmen🌜ts, you can safely ap♚ply it to any helmet and gain its benefits.
Instead of Enchanting a helmet, you may also find an Enchanted Book of Respiration, which you can then apply to your helmet at an anvil. You can also make these Books yourself, although it's probably easier to Enchant your helmet directly.
Respiration Effects
For each level of Respiration, you'll gain an additional 15 seconds of air bubbles while underwater. This means, at level Respiration three, and combined with the default underwater time of 15 seconds, you'll be able to stay below water for an entire minute without needing to come up for air.
