Why Swim, When You Can Walk On Non-Existent Water?

As first shared on Twitter by a content creator, the water phy🎀sics in MindsEye is essentially non-existent, as the player character can simply walk or run on top of it with no consequences.

To reach the water, th🐼e creator used the PC🍃's Build feature, and while some pointed to him going to a part of the map that wasn't intended to be used, the creator noted that it shouldn't be accessible if that was the case. But it is and this is the end result.

Not only is the actual ocean basically non-existent when it comes to physics or reactions, but so are swimming pools in houses and other areas. Those areas have inch-level pools that is extremely unre൩alistic, if we're being honest.

Put simply, the broken water physics is just one of many issues that the game is currently facing. Refunds have already been given out on PlayStat𝓰ion, a rather rare move from the company. Elsewhere, the developers shared a roadmap of patches to fix 𒐪the gam🌸e. If that wasn't enough, Walmart has seemingly begun putting the♓ g🔜ame in clearance bins.

It's all helped create what is easily the worst-reviewe𝓡d game of 2025, and one that seemin🎐gly has a lot of work to do to escape that.
