You don't have to wait until Halloween to give it a try, though. Yacht Club Games on Steam to coincide with the announcement of the release date. It's available until June 16, and includes the enꦜtirety of the opening level, as well as the first major boss fight. So, you don't have long to sink your teeth into the gorgeous pixel art, but progress does at least carry ⛄over into the full release.

Mina the Hollower is only confirmed for PC, but with Shovel Knight's ever-enduring popularity, which saw it burrow into every single current-gen console, we'll no doubt see Mina do the same in future.
